Worst child death toll in history

Police identified the murderer as Panya Khamrapm, one of the former members who was suspended on the grounds of drug allegations and is currently on trial for the same. The attack also included the killer killing his own family.

In Uthai Sawan, most of the children were stabbed to death, marking one of the worst child death tolls in a massacre by a single murderer in the country's history. The age range of children is between two and five years old.

As the blazing sun beat down on their Friday morning, a line of grieving parents placed white roses on the nursery's steps.

Among those killed at the nursery when the attacker ploughed through the door were Buarai's two three-year-old grandsons. She said, "I couldn't sleep. I didn't think that it would be my two grandsons," Reuters reported.
