Footballers and teams take a knee during the match support anti-racism campaign!

Many football team and players took a knee in solidarity with Black Lives Matter protests sweeping the world after George Floyd's killing in Minneapolis by a police officer. 

Here are the list of the players and the teams who took a knee:

Marcus Thuram takes a knee to honor memory of George Floyd

Marcus Thuram, 22-Year Old French forward, takes a knee to honor memory of George Floyd after scoring in the German Bundesliga match between Borussia Moenchengladbach v Union Berlin.

Real Madrid's Marcelo

Real Madrid defender Marcelo showed his support to the Black Lives Matter campaign by taking a knee after he scored a goal for his club against Eibar.

Liverpool squad

Liverpool's squad took a knee while training session to show support to 'Black Lives Matter' campaign. 

Premier League released a statement, which read: "We, the Players, stand together with the singular objective of eradicating racial prejudice wherever it exists, to bring about a global society of inclusion, respect, and equal opportunities for All, regardless of their colour or creed.

Aston Villa and Sheffield United

Players and coaches from all four sides including  Aston Villa and Sheffield United who clashed on Wednesday took a knee for nearly 10 seconds with Black Lives Matter carved on the back of their shirts instead of their names.

The English Premier League restarted after a 100-day break due to the coronavirus pandemic as Manchester City and Arsenal players took a knee in solidarity with Black Lives Matter protests sweeping the world after George Floyd's killing in Minneapolis by a police officer.
