Fallout Season 2: Easter eggs and references from the teaser you may have missed

Amazon Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser for the highly anticipated second season of Fallout. The series, based on the iconic video game franchise, is set in a post-apocalyptic world, with the new season taking place in New Vegas. Here are some of the key Easter eggs and references you may have missed.

The teaser gives us our first look at Robert House, played by Justin Theroux. House is a brilliant inventor and billionaire who controlled Las Vegas before the bombs fell. In the games, it is revealed that he survived the nuclear devastation by sealing himself inside a special chamber and preserving the city.

Victor, a unique military robot created by Mr House to help him manage and protect New Vegas after the apocalypse, also makes an appearance. In the games, Victor serves as House’s loyal liaison, and it will be interesting to see how his role is adapted in the show.

Lucy and the Ghoul are shown battling what appear to be members of The Kings, a gang that is obsessed with Elvis Presley, in the town of Novac, a memorable location from the video game.

A quick glimpse reveals Lucy surrounded by Caesar’s Legion, a ruthless army of slavers determined to conquer New Vegas. Their appearance sets up the possibility of major conflicts ahead.

The teaser also features a brief look at the mysterious Chemist from season one, the figure responsible for transforming a character into a ghoul, a zombie-like being who retains intelligence and memories but is often feared and hunted because of their appearance.

A Brotherhood of Steel airship is seen being attacked by other ships from the same faction, teasing the possibility of an internal civil war. The Brotherhood, a remnant of the old US Army, is known for hoarding advanced technology.

Finally, fans are treated to a terrifying glimpse of a Deathclaw. These genetically engineered killing machines are among the most feared creatures in the Fallout universe and one of the franchise’s most recognisable monsters.
