Dwayne Johnson to Akshay Kumar: Meet the World's Highest Paid Actors

Recenly, Forbes dropped their list of The World's Highest-Paid actors. This year, most of the top ten-earning actors have been paid by the Netflix.

Topping the list, Dwayne Johnson ranked first with an earning of $87.5 million in a year followed by Ryan Reynolds.

Dwayne Johnson takes the top slot on the list of the world’s highest-paid male actors for a second straight year. The Rock took the top place after getting a cheque of $23.5 million from Netflix for upcoming film 'Red Notice'.

Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds is on number two, thanks to Netflix. The 'Deadpool' actor earned an impressive $ 71.5 million in 2020 from Netflix 'Six Underground' and 'Red Notice'.

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg grossed the fifth position in the star-studded list by earning $30 million. Mark action-comedy 'Spenser Confidential' earned him millions, which became Netflix’s third-most-watched original film after its debut on the streamer.

Ben Affleck

This year, Ben Affleck takes the 4rth position with $55 million. After a short break, the actor returned to the big screen with 'The Way Back' and Netflix’s 'The Last Toshing He Wanted', this year.

Vin Diesel is the next favourite person of Netflix. The actor takes the 5th spot and again thanks to the streaming giant.

Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is the only Indian actor to feature in Forbes annual list of best-paid actors. This year, 'Baby' actor dropped from the fourth position to sixth, as he raked in $48.5 million in the past year.

This year Lin Manuel Miranda makes his debut to the top 10 actors. This comes after, Disney acquired worldwide rights of the original Broadway production of 'Hamilton' for $75 million.

Will Smith is on the 3rd position and he’s reportedly receiving $40 million for his 'King Richard'.

Adam Sandler dropped down from the sixth position to ninth. The Italian actor signed another deal with Netlfix, to create four more movies for the platform. Sandler 'Murder Mystery' is one of the streamer’s most-popular films of all time.

Jackie Chan is the second Asian actor, who make it up to the top 10 list. The 66-year-old martial artist is dropped from 5th position to the 10th, by earning $50 million in a year.
