Corporate amid pandemic: Top 6 companies working from home until 2021 or permanently

As the United States continues to struggle with coronavirus, some companies have asked their employees to work from home. 

While some companies like Google, Sony Music, Amazon corporate and Viacom have asked their employees to return by 2021, the others like Facebook and Twitter have told their employees that they don't ever have to come back to the office:

Google

Google CEO Sundar Pichai, in a memo, wrote to his employees regarding the work from home scenario due to coronavirus pandemic.  

He said: "I hope this will offer the flexibility you need to balance work with taking care of yourselves and your loved ones over the next 12 months."

The American company asked its employees to work from home until 2021.

Amazon corporate

According to the IMF, women are getting hit hardest by the pandemic recession and some companies are shifting in an effort to recognize that.
