Celebrating love! Inside Sonakshi Sinha and Iqbal Zaheer's wedding reception
Union forever!
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbaal come from different religions. So, instead of choosing either of their customs, the couple opted to go for a court marriage. They registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act (SMA) of 1954 at the Dabangg actress's luxurious apartment in Mumbai.
Seven years of love
After tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal, the couple made their wedding official on their social media. Sharing the photos from their wedding ceremony, Sonakshi wrote, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife."
Night full of Happiness
After the official ceremony, the couple hosted a wedding party at Bastian, a popular celebrity eatery in Mumbai. For the starry night, Sonakshi and Zaheer looked adorable in their traditional attire as they posed for the paparazzi present at the venue.
Bridal look!
After wearing an off-white saree for the official ceremony, Sonakshi chose to wear a red Banarasi silk saree from the fashion label Raw Label at her reception party. Her Vermillion colour saree was adorned with a golden border and embroidery all over. She tied her hair in a sleek bun, adorned with gajra (garland). She accessorised her look with emerald jewellery. Meanwhile, her husband, Zaheer kept it simple in an off-white sherwani.

To celebrate Sonakshi and Zaheer's on their big day, a bevy of A-listers, including Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Kajol, Anil Kapoor and many others showed up at the venue.
