Amitabh Bachchan turns 76: 6 drastic makeovers of the actor that we loved

Amitabh Bachhan's looks strikingly different in Telugu film- 'Sai Raa Narsimha Reddy'. The first look was shared by film analyst Taran Adarsh on Big B's birthday on social media. Big B plays Gosayi Venkanna in this period-drama which also stars Nayanthara, Kichcha Sudeep, Tamannah Bhatia, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagpathy Babu and Chiranjeevi 

Big B's look in 'Thugs of Hindostan' has left his fans in sheer surprise and curiosity. The film also features Amir Khan as his costar. The film has Big B playing a Pirate and is based on the novel written by Philip Meadows Taylor’s titled 'Confessions of a Thug and the cult of the Thuggee'. 

Amitabh's look in 'Piku' wherein he plays Deepika's father. Shoojit Sircar's film was a story of a father and daughter. To look his part of a Bengali aged man, Big B wore loose kurtas, a hat and even sported a paunch.  

Only Amitabh Bachchan could pull off a role like this! Big B played a full-of-life 102-year-old in Umesh Shukla's film. The film had him playing Rishi Kapoor's father. For his role, the superstar changed his look. In the movie, he was part bald and sported a white beard and glasses. 

Amitabh Bachchan's drastic makeover in 'Paa' took everyone by surprise. Perhaps ond of the most challenging roles of his career, the actor played a kid who suffers from 'progeria'. The actor had to use a lot of prosthetic makeup to look his part.
