India will overtake China as the world’s most populous country by 2100, and will have 1.09 billion people. Even though the numbers are lower than the current 1.38 billion overall, India will overtake China.
By 2100, Nigeria will witness a tremendous increase in population, and will have more than 791 million people, as opposed to the current figure of 206 million.
As opposed to the current 1.4 billion, China will have a population of 732 million by the end of this century.
The US will host 336 million people by 2100, compared to the current 325 million.
At number 5, Pakistan will host 248 million people by 2100, as opposed to the current figure of 214 million people.
By 2100, the Democratic Republic of Congo will have a population of 246 million.
Indonesia will slip from its current position of #4 with 258 million people to #7 with a population of 229 million.
By 2100, Ethiopia will harbour 223 million people. Currently, it’s not in the top ten countries.
Egypt is projected to have a population of 199 million by the end of the century.
Tanzania will host 186 million people by the end of this century.
