Four terrorists have been killed by security forces in Lam village of Tral in J&K's Pulwama district on Tuesday evening.

Public places have been closed in the area as a precautionary measure.

The security forces have now cordoned off the area.

Earlier, Terrorists fled the spot after they were involved in a gun battle with the security forces.

Tral — considered a terrorist hotbed — is the native town of Hizbul Mujahideen's Burhan Wani, who was killed in 2016, and Zakir Musa, an active militant commander.
