The man is suspected to be a victim of 'Love Jihad'
The Rajasthan government on Saturday announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the family of the man who was burnt alive in a case of suspected 'love jihad'.
The announcement comes after thepolice recently recovered a partly burnt body of a man in Rajasthan's Rajsamand.
The victim was identified as Mohammed Afrazul, a migrant from Malda, West Bengal.
The man is suspected to be a victim of "Love Jihad".
The police have stated that the victim was burnt alive.
Avideo had emerged on social media in which a resident of Rajsamand was seen beating the victimAfrazul. In the video, he is initially seen hitting the victim with an axe. Later, pouring kerosene on his body and burning him.
