The Rajasthan government on Saturday announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the family of the <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/man-burnt-alive-in-rajasthans-rajsamand-in-suspected-case-of-love-jihad-26095" target="_blank">man who was burnt alive </a>in a case of suspected &#39;love jihad&#39;.&nbsp;

The announcement comes after the&nbsp;police recently recovered a partly burnt body of a man in Rajasthan&#39;s Rajsamand.

The victim was identified as Mohammed Afrazul, a migrant from Malda, West Bengal.&nbsp;

The man is suspected to be a victim of &quot;Love Jihad&quot;.

The police have stated that the victim was burnt alive.&nbsp;

A&nbsp;video had emerged on social media in which a resident of Rajsamand was seen beating the victim&nbsp;Afrazul. In the video, he is initially seen hitting the victim with an axe. Later, pouring kerosene on his body and burning him.&nbsp;

The man is also heard as saying &#39;&#39;those who indulge in &#39;love jihad&#39; will be met with same fate.&#39;&#39;

Accused has been arrested and a special investigation team (SIT) has been formed to investigate in the case.
