The Copa America Final 2024 between Argentina and Columbia was not without a fight as players from both sides nearly came to blows in the extra time on Sunday (Jul 14).
The incident happened shortly after Lautaro Martinez's goal in 112th minute. Colombian forward Miguel Borja tackled and downed Leandro Paredes, drawing the ire of Argentinian footballers. Have a look at the video below:
The referee came to rescue quickly and diffused what could have been another unpleasant situation in the American continental championship which wasmarred by violence.

As for the match, Argentina won it 1-0 in extra time with Martinez being the sole goal scorer in the final.
