'Tumko yaad rakhenge guru hum', Mumbai Police bids goodbye to Irrfan Khan

You know you touched many hearts when everyone you have come in contact with misses you.

Bollywood star Irrfan Khan was laid to rest today as he succumbed to colon infection after having suffered for a long time from neuroendocrine tumour. Admitted to Mumbai hospital, Irrfan died at the age of 53.

After the news of his death came out, Bollywood and Hollywood celebs took to their social media profiles to pay a tribute to the actor. Mumbai Police too joined them in expressing their grief over the actor’s sudden demise on Twitter and said that he will never be forgotten.

The official handle of Mumbai Police tweeted, "'I suppose, in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.' Goodbye Irrfan. You can never be forgotten either. #RIPIrrfan."
