The news of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has sent shockwaves across the country. Found dead at his mumbai residence, the actor’s death has opened a pandora box on issues of mental health, uncertainty and what not.
The 34-year-old’s mortal remains were taken to Mumbai hospital for postmortem. According to the report, his cause of death is asphyxia due to hanging.
The reason for his suicide, however, is not known and an investigation is underway. The family is not convinced on suicide being the reason as they suspect foul play with one family member also calling it “a murder” and demanding a CBI enquiry into Sushant’s death.
Meanwhile, as celebs and fans mount his loss, his last co-star Sanjana Sanghi who was debuting opposite Sushant shared a heartbreaking video as she looks teary-eyed. She wrote, “Abhi toh itna kuch baaki tha, Sushant? You gave me a forever, within a limited number of days, and for that. I’m forever grateful. - our beloved novel, The Fault In Our Stars.
A forever of learnings, and of memories.”
“I refreshed my web pages a 100 times hoping I’m reading some sort of horrible joke. I’m not equipped to process any of this. I don’t think I ever will be. I’m definitely not equipped to articulate my feelings, this is me failing, but trying. After 2 years of seemingly all the possible difficulties one single film can face, with all sorts of crap constantly being written, and being relentlessly pursued. All the times we sat back and witnessed all sorts of narratives were being spun, felt confused, got shocked at the insensitivity of the society we live in and decided that once and for all we’d together with the celebration of our film put an end to them.
We were supposed to FINALLY see our film - my first film, and what you told me you believed was your best film yet, together,” she wrote.
