Researchers at Canterbury Christ Church &amp; Leicester Universities in their study published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine stated that exercises like plank and wall sits&nbsp;reduce blood pressure, the Guardian reported.

The researchers compared the efficacies of various forms in lowering blood pressure and discovered that "isometric exercises,"&nbsp;were nearly twice as effective as the exercise guidelines recommended.&nbsp;

The NHS website also suggests that adults should do at least 150 minutes of moderate to intensity aerobic activity, such as cycling or fast walking, in a week along with healthy diet and lifestyle changes to reduce their blood pressure.&nbsp;

The study examined some 270 random clinical trials involving 15,827 participants to know the effects of particular exercises categorised into aerobic, HIIT, dynamic resistance training and isometric exercises on resting blood pressure.

A reader in cardiovascular physiology at Canterbury Christ Church University, Jamie O'Driscoll said the reason why isometric exercises are the most effective as the muscle remained contracted but did not change in length.

This is because static contraction while exercising can lead to the compression of blood vessels that supply blood to the active muscles, resulting in reduced blood flow and oxygen.&nbsp;After the exercise, when the muscle relaxes, there is a surge of blood flow through vessels triggering better blood regulation.&nbsp;

O'Driscoll said, "Performing 4 x 2 minutes of wall sits, with 2-minutes’ rest in between, three times per week, is an effective way to reduce your blood pressure. They should be done alongside other exercise modes, to provide the maximum range of exercise choices rather than limiting them."

A senior cardiac nurse at the British Heart Foundation, Joanne Whitmore&nbsp;said that it's encouraging to see the benefits of other forms of exercise along with aerobic exercises.&nbsp;

"We know that those who take on exercise they enjoy tend to carry on for longer, which is key in maintaining lower blood pressure."&nbsp;Furthermore, she said it&nbsp;is important to make lifestyle changes too, such as losing weight, eating healthily and reducing alcohol consumption to have the best results.&nbsp;

The images of a man and a woman were shared on Instagram by an account called IAbuelas by Santiago Barros, the creator. He&nbsp;came up with the idea last year after discovering the Midjourney AI tool, Rest of World reported.&nbsp;

The images were created by splicing photos of the child's parents using Midjourney and then applying the age filter. The end product is a photorealistic portrait of the person in his or her in their current possible look in late forties.&nbsp;

Barros took images from the online archive of Grandmothers for the Plaza de Mayo, an organisation founded by the grandmothers of the kids kidnapped. The grandmothers earlier used to stand outside kindergartens, waiting for their disappeared grandkids.&nbsp;

Clarifying no connection with IAbuelas, the organisation reached out to Barros and published a joint statement saying that it is just an AI art project.&nbsp;

'They are waiting for you'

In a conversation with the Rest of World, Barros said that this is not just important for his family, but for others too. "That's what most important to me- for it to fell like they are looking at you, waiting for you to do something."

However, the images lack credibility. This is because of a "lack of data," as the military kidnapped the kids immediately after their birth and even the gender of many babies wasn't verified, the report said.&nbsp;

The images displayed by IAbeula are not a clear representation of Argentina's ethnic diversity, nor the imperfections that come with age.

"The app tends to show hegemonic portraits," Barros said. "For example, making everyone very thin … I’m working to make the images more diverse, more representative of what Argentines truly are."

Despite the project’s limits, the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo appreciated the spirit behind IAbuelas. It may also use AI portraits for its promotional material.&nbsp;

Barros hopes that his project might do some good amid decades of often fruitless search. He said, "If there’s at least one person that’s inspired by the project and calls the Grandmothers to ask about his or her identity, this will have been all worth it."

However, Sarai Palacios, the granddaughter of the bodega owner later told the Daily Mail that the woman hasn't won anything and the real winner is yet to come forward.&nbsp;

"She didn't win – I'm not sure why she did that. I guess she just wanted to be on TV. We don't know who the winner is yet. They still haven't come forward."

They added if an individual scores the grand jackpot prize, they will have a choice between a prize&nbsp;of $1 billion or $516.8 million before taxes. They added that the odds of winning the jackpot&nbsp;are 1 in 292.2 million.&nbsp;

There were other winners as well after the drawing.

Previously, five tickets sold in Connecticut, Florida, Pennsylvania and New York matched all five white ball numbers and won a cash prize of $1 million in&nbsp;Monday's (July 17)&nbsp;drawing.

There had been 38 consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner since April 19 this year, when a ticket in Ohio matched all five numbers and the Power Play to win a grand prize of $252.6 million. Until now, three people have won $2 million after matching all five numbers and the Power Play.&nbsp;

Here's how you can participate in Powerball Jackpot

Powerball draws the winning numbers every week on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 pm ET. The game is supervised by Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL).&nbsp;

To participate in the Powerball jackpot, one needs to&nbsp;buy tickets from a retail store authorised to participate in the United States or&nbsp;online through the state lottery agency in some US states. Players can also add the Power Play feature for an additional $1. After purchasing a ticket, one needs to choose numbers between 1 and 69 and another number between 1 and 26. The officials then announce numbers from two separate drums, one containing the five white balls and the other holding the red balls.&nbsp;

To claim a win, a player must match all five white balls and the red Powerball.&nbsp;
