Everton completed the signing of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid on Monday, reuniting the Colombian playmaker with manager Carlo Ancelotti for a third time.

The Premier League club are reported to have paid £22 million ($29 million) for the 29-year-old, who was top scorer at the 2014 World Cup.

James's performances on the world stage earned him an 80 million euro ($95 million) move to Madrid six years ago and he shone in his first season in the Spanish capital under Ancelotti's management.

However, he fell down the pecking order in Zinedine Zidane's two spells in charge at the Bernabeu and failed to impress in a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich between 2017 and 2019, where he also worked under Ancelotti.

James becomes Everton's second signing of the transfer window after the arrival of Brazilian international Allan from Napoli and believes the future is bright for the Toffees despite a disappointing 12th place finish in the Premier League last season.

Neither could do enough, never getting the deficit below two strokes as &nbsp;Johnson parred nine straight.

That run included a 21-foot par-saving putt at the 13th, where he was in the left rough off the tee and right of the green and hit a poor chip but drained the putt to push his lead back to three over Schauffele.

"He made that putt, which I didn't," said Schauffele, who bogeyed the 13th. "That was a pinnacle moment, I think."

"Obviously it's a very tough trophy to win. This time I did control my own destiny, I knew what I had to do.

"But I still had to go out and play well today. I had a lot of great players right behind me and they played some good golf today. I knew I was going to have to come down the stretch and hit some golf shots."

"He (de Villiers) is coming from a very different space and he is enjoying his life and is very relaxed and fit as ever. I feel I am in a much better space, much more balanced, when it comes to environment of (the) IPL.

"Aaron Finch is someone who has experience of playing international cricket."

Kohli has captained Bangalore since 2013 and said the tournament being played outside India because of coronavirus meant his side would be "disconnecting with things that have happened in the past and not taking that baggage, as we have done that way too many times.

"Just because we have a bunch of players that are so skilled... people have had so much expectation," he admitted.

Bangalore's other imported talent includes South African pace bowler Chris Morris and little known Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Philippe.

"Morris brings in a lot of balance," said Kohli. "Some of the youngsters we have picked this time are quite exciting too like Josh Philippe, a very exciting player."

The IPL will be played across three venues within relatively close proximity -- Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi -- and Kohli feels that will lead to consistent playing conditions across the tournament.

"It was irresponsible of me to break the Covid-19 protocols which are in place to protect players, staff and the public.

"In particular, I want to apologise to Gareth Southgate, for letting him down when he had shown great trust in me."

Greenwood added: "Playing for England was one of the proudest moments in my life and I only have myself to blame for this huge mistake.

"I promise my family, the fans, Manchester United and England that this is a lesson I will learn from."

In the players' auction which was held in December 2019, Maxwell was bought by KXIP for INR 10.75 crore. The side had also increased depth in their bowling ranks after acquiring Windies pacer Sheldon Cottrell for INR 8.5 crore.

"In the players' auction we addressed that we needed an impact player and that is why we bought Glenn Maxwell. He can field and bat, he is a gun fielder as well. The other part was that we needed a fast bowler who can bowl at the death that is why we looked at Sheldon Cottrell. Overall we are satisfied with the squad we have. In the end, it's about keeping the things simple," Kumble replied to an ANI inquiry during a virtual interaction.

Kings XI Punjab will be led by KL Rahul this year, and Kumble is well aware of the qualities of the Karnataka-born batsman having seen him from childhood.

Talking about KL Rahul's leadership, Kumble said: "Knowing KL and some of the players from the past really helps. I have seen KL from his childhood. So far he has been brilliant, he knows the players better than me, he has been with the franchise for two years, he is very relaxed, he has been in the scene for a while now, he understands the nuances of the game, so all of that put together it really helps, I am happy with the start we have had, I am looking forward to the IPL under his leadership."

Kumble also gave his take on MS Dhoni playing the IPL 2020 after announcing his retirement from international cricket. The former India coach said that the wicket-keeper batsman would be highly motivated to do well for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Knowing MS, he will obviously give his 100 percent, even when I played IPL's second season, I had retired, the last two seasons I played in IPL, I was retired.
