Chandrayaan-3 update: ISRO successfully performs third orbit-raising manoeuvre

Remember the Pakistani chai seller who went viral for not just serving chai but also his good looks? The internet sensation has now gone international, as he has opened a cafe in London. The once-poor chai seller from Pakistan’s capital Islamabad started his own venture in a busy London street filled with Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis.

The chai seller, named Arshad Khan, has started his brand Cafe Chaiwala in East London’s Ilford Land, an area populated by South Asians. The billboard outside his cafe clearly mentions the brand name. ‘Cafe Chaiwala Arshad Khan’, so that customers are not confused and vividly remember his face and fame.

As per ANI, the Chaiwala brand has been brought exclusively to London by three Asian brothers- Bahadur Durrani, Nadir Durrani and Akbar Durrani. The brothers are planning to expand and popularise the franchise across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Arshad’s rags-to-riches story

Arshad Khan’s story is that of a classic rags-to-riches one. Just seven years ago, he was a poor teenager selling some chai at an Islamabad roadside stall just to make ends meet. Not even in his wildest dreams would he have imagined that one day he will become a social media sensation, a fashion icon and a franchise owner in London City.

The photographer, Javeria Ali casually clicked his picture back in October 2016 when Arshad was only 16 years old. Javeria shared his picture on her Instagram account with the caption, “Hot Tea”. Arshad’s blue eyes, striking looks and model-like face shot him to overnight fame in India and Pakistan.

The brothers are planning to expand and popularise the franchise across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Arshad’s rags-to-riches story Arshad Khan’s story is that of a classic rags-to-riches one. Also Read | World's strongest passports in 2023: How powerful is Indian passport? As dreamy as it sounds, Junaid and his family took to Instagram to share the rare moments with the Dubai ruler. Junaid is the founder and managing director of the wealth research agency Hurun India. "What are the odds of meeting @hhshkmohd in an elevator?? Such a down-to-earth person. He graciously allowed us to click multiple photographs and had a good chat with Mishel as well," the Mumbai-based businessman wrote in the caption. 'Very friendly': Indian family hails Dubai ruler after chance meeting in elevator

Former Kerala chief minister and Congress veteran Oommen Chandy passed away on Tuesday. His family and Kerala Congress president K Sudhakaran broke the news. He was being treated for cancer and breathed his last at a Bengaluru hospital early July 18 morning.

Chandy was the longest-serving MLA in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and the only Indian chief minister to achieve the award for public service from the United Nations.

Born in the Kottayam district of Kerala, Chandy entered into the world of politics as an activist of Kerala Students Union (KSU), one of Kerala’s largest student organisations. KSU is the student wing of the Indian National Congress Party in the state. He was the unit president of the KSY at St. George High School, Puthupally, and later went on to become the State President of the organisation in 1970.

Since then, there has been only one winner in the Puthupally constituency - Oomen Chandy. The man was the sole reason for the Congress party in the state to win this assembly seat and represent it for five decades.
