5 Reasons Chilli Flakes Are Beneficial For Our Health

Chilli flakes, which are also called crushed pepper flakes, are popular in households and are made of dried and crushed red chilli peppers. Here are five health benefits of chilli flakes:

Chilli flakes are filled with antioxidants that help fight free radicals in the body and decrease the risk of inflammation and chronic disease.

Capsaicin in the chillies also increases metabolism which helps in losing weight. It helps burn more calories and fat in the body, especially when combined with regular exercise.

The heat in the chilli flakes leads to the production of stomach acid which helps in digestion.

Chilli flakes are also beneficial for the heart as they lower blood pressure and improve heart health. Capsaicin also improves cholesterol which is linked to a healthy heart.

Chilli flakes lead to the release of endorphins which are hormones that promote a sense of happiness and well-being.

He is seeking re-election from the seat as the BJP-JD(S) alliance's joint candidate and is facing competition from 31-year-old Congress candidate Shreyas M Patel, who is the grandson of Puttaswamy Gowda. As per his election affidavit, Revanna declared assets worth Rs 40.85 crore which displayed a substantial increase in his assets from 2019. His father H D Revanna, who is the elder son of Deve Gowda, is a former minister and an MLA from Holenarsipura. As the controversy erupted, Prajwal Revanna flew to Germany on Sunday morning (April 28). (With inputs from agencies)
