<p>International expert Arnold Dix on Thursday evening told PTI news agency, "Right now the auger machine is experiencing some difficulties, for the third time."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We have seen this happen before," he added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Director General Atul Karwal told PTI that once the drilling work is completed the workers will be taken out one after the other on wheeled stretchers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A 26-year-old Indian student Aaditya Adlakha died on November 11 after&nbsp;succumbing to his injuries from a shooting incident in the US state of Ohio. The incident took place on November 9 in the Western Hills neighbourhood in Cincinnati city.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Adlakha, a fourth-year doctoral student in the molecular and developmental biology programme at the University of Cincinnati, was shot dead inside his car, media reports said. On the day of the incident, Cincinnati police found Adlakha's injured body inside the car that crashed into a wall.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Following the tragic incident, the Indian student was rushed for treatment at UC Medical Center. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries two days later.</p>

'Serious threat to democracy': India to soon introduce regulations to curb deepfake menace

<p>Qatar on Thursday (Nov 23) confirmed that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will begin Friday (Nov 24) at 7 am&nbsp;local time wherein as many as first 13 hostages taken by the militant group will be released by 4 pm. The announcement was made by Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson&nbsp;Dr Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari who also suggested that he does not see any further delay in the truce.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“We are hoping that we don’t see any delays and I think we’ve reached a point now where everything is in place and we are ready to go on the ground," the official said during a presser.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The deal finally came to be when Qatar mediated the negotiations between Israel and Hamas. Egypt and the US also helped in reaching the agreement.</p>

<p>A total of 240 Israelis were held hostage by Hamas Islamist militant group in the aftermath of October 7 terror attack while about 1,200 Israelis were killed.&nbsp;</p>

Qatar on Thursday (Nov 23) confirmed that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will begin Friday (Nov 24) at 7 am local time wherein as many as first 13 hostages taken by the militant group will be released by 4 pm. The announcement was made by Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Dr Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari who also suggested that he does not see any further delay in the truce. “We are hoping that we don’t see any delays and I think we’ve reached a point now where everything is in place and we are ready to go on the ground," the official said during a presser. The deal finally came to be when Qatar mediated the negotiations between Israel and Hamas. Egypt and the US also helped in reaching the agreement. A total of 240 Israelis were held hostage by Hamas Islamist militant group in the aftermath of October 7 terror attack while about 1,200 Israelis were killed.
