Speaking to ANI, Union Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, "The ministries of Agriculture and Commerce and Industry have organised a three-day India International Cooperative trade fair from October 11 to 13. In addition to many co-operatives, more than 35 countries will be taking part in the fair." 
 
The fair has been jointly organised by National Cooperative Development Corporation in association with the Bangkok-based international organisation NEDAC and leading organisations in India like NAFED, APEDA and ITPO. 
 
In addition, six state governments and Union Territories are partners of IICTF. 
 
Bangladesh is also a partner country in the event. 
 
Tomar further said that the joint initiative is getting a good response. During the trade fair, a seminar will also be held in which representatives from different countries will share their experiences and opinions. 
 
In a statement, the Agriculture Ministry said that the event has received an overwhelming response both domestically and abroad. 
 
More than 150 Indian cooperatives, 20 organisations from the Centre, States and Union Territories and 35 countries have purchased exhibition booths so far for participation. 
 
"The trade fair is expected to evolve a conducive environment for cooperative trade in the global arena, help in expansion and diversification of business, technology transfer, help lay international quality benchmark for cooperative products," an official statement read.&nbsp;

Five more wild elephants in Thailand died in a plunge from the top of a waterfall, drone footage released on Tuesday showed, bringing the death toll to 11, including a three-year-old calf.

Only two elephants in the herd are known to have survived the fall at the 200-metre&nbsp;high Haew Narok Waterfall in a national park in Thailand's mountainous northeast, officials said.

The accident on Saturday is a setback to wildlife conservation in Thailand and happened at the same spot in Khao Yai National Park as a similar accident in 1992 that killed eight elephants.

The elephants were trying to cross the river at the top of the cliff on Saturday when a strong current swept them over the edge of the waterfalls, officials at the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation said.

Wildlife officials sent small drones into the area to investigate because the terrain is too rough for hiking, Nattapong Sirichanam, governor of Nakhorn Nayok province adjacent to the mountains, told reporters on Tuesday.

"We flew drones at a height of 15 metres above the ground as we can't walk in to confirm the deaths," Nattapong said.

Analysis of the footage identified the bodies of five more elephants in addition to the six originally reported after the accident.

"We assume that there were 13 elephants in this herd and two of them survived. We are 100 per cent&nbsp;confident that two of them are alive as the officials saw them going out for food around the area of Haew Narok falls," Nattapong said.

Thailand has only about 3,500 to 3,700 wild elephants left nationwide, according to the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation.

The 2,000 square km Kao Yai National Park is believed to have around 300 wild elephants as well as other wildlife. Now that two major accidents have occurred there, Nattapong said conservation officials are talking about building walkways over the falls or other solutions.

"We will try to find a way to prevent this kind of tragedy from happening again," he said.

"But this time by skilfully garnering the support of other parties in both Houses, with strong logic and plea in consonance with public sentiment, the work was accomplished, for which the members of the ruling party, including the Prime Minister and Home Minister, and other political parties who upheld the public sentiments in Parliament deserve congratulations," he said. 
 
"This effort will come to fruition only when justice denied under the influence of Article 370 is restored, injustices occurred are brought to an end. It will happen when our Kashmiri Pandits who were unjustly driven away are brought back and rehabilitated and allowed to remain secure, fearless, patriotic and Hindu," he added. 
 
Bhagwat said there is also a need to restore the rights of residents which were denied to them.

In his address at the Vijayadashami function of RSS, Bhagwat said the move of the BJP-led regime to nullify Article 370 has once again proved that it has the courage to fulfil expectations and respect people's sentiments and wishes in the interest of the country. The Article was repealed in August this year almost two months after the BJP-led coalition returned to power at the Centre with a greater majority. It will happen when our Kashmiri Pandits who were unjustly driven away are brought back and rehabilitated and allowed to remain secure, fearless, patriotic and Hindu," he added. A Naxal was killed in an encounter with District Reserve Guard (DRG) in the jungles of Pitepal under Katekalyan police station limits in Dantewada district on Tuesday morning, while a security personnel, who was a part of the operation, died of heart attack, police said.

Another police personnel was injured in the encounter, which took place at around 9 am, said P Sundarraj, DIG anti-Naxal operations.

The DRG official, who died due to heart attack, was identified as Kailash Netam.

The body of the Naxal has been recovered.

DRG officials have also recovered one country-made pistol, two magazines of INSAS rifle and two magazines of SLR.
