<p>Kamala Harris's campaign has raised a whopping $200 million after she emerged as the frontrunner for the Democrat presidential nominee last week. The donations have skyrocketed after President Joe Biden dropped his re-election bid and endorsed Harris as the presidential candidate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As of Sunday (Jul 28), the bulk of donations (66 per cent) came from first-time contributors in the 2024 election cycle.&nbsp;Additionally, over 170,000 volunteers have also signed up to help the Harris campaign which has only 100 days to take on rival, Donald Trump.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On Saturday (Jul 27), Haris campaigned in Pittsfield, Massachusettes where the fundraiser managed to raise approximately $1,4 million, shattering the earlier estimates of $400,000 by a countrymile.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The momentum and energy for Vice President Harris is real — and so are the fundamentals of this race: this election will be very close and decided by a small number of voters in just a few states,” wrote Michael Tyler, Harris's campaign communications director.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While most Republicans had predicted Harris to be a weak candidate in front of Trump, her popularity in recent days has given a major scare to the GOP lawmakers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Trump has also resorted to making personal jibes against the vice president, suggesting that the former president knew about the increasing threat.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said Sunday it bombed Hezbollah's weapons depots and infrastructure in eastern Lebanon, in Shabriha and Burj el-Shemali near the southern city of Tyre, and the villages of Kafr Lila or Kfar Kila, Rab el-Thalathine, Khiam and Tayr Harfa.</p>

<p>Earlier, the Israeli foreign ministry said the Lebanon-based militant group had crossed its "red line" by staging the attack.</p>

<p>“Saturday’s massacre constitutes the crossing of all red lines by Hezbollah. This is not an army fighting another army, rather it is a terrorist organisation deliberately shooting at civilians,” the ministry said.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Hezbollah on Saturday firmly denied its involvement in the attack.</p>

<p>“If the United States carries out such plans, we will consider ourselves liberated from the unilateral moratorium previously adopted on the deployment of medium- and short-range strike capabilities,” Putin threatened during a naval parade in Saint Petersburg.</p>

<p>Notably, intermediate-range nuclear weapons were subject to an arms control treaty that the US and Soviet Union signed in 1987. However, the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty collapsed in 2019 after both sides accused each other of violations.</p>

<p>Following the withdrawal from the treaty, Russia announced it wouldn't start production of the weapons until the US started deploying these missiles abroad.</p>

<p>The rocket struck&nbsp;a football pitch in the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights.&nbsp;The Israeli ambulance service said 13 more people were wounded by the attack at the pitch which was filled at the time with children and teenagers.</p>

<p>Footage posted on social media showed the moment the rocket hit. An air raid siren can be heard, followed by a big explosion and images of smoke rising.</p>

<p>Speaking to the news agency Reuters, a witness said people were playing at the pitch and ran to a shelter as they heard sirens. "...it may take them like 15 seconds (to reach the shelter). But they couldn't reach the shelter because the rocket hit the site between the ground and the shelter," the witness added.</p>

<p>"Never sell your bitcoin," Trump urged. "If I am elected, it will be the policy of my administration to keep 100 per cent of all the bitcoin the US government currently holds or acquires into the future."</p>

<p>At least ten people were killed on the&nbsp;Israeli-occupied Golan Heights on Saturday (Jul 27) after the town of&nbsp;Majdal Shams was hit by a barrage of rockets fired from Lebanon, reported news agency AFP.</p>

<p>Eli Bin, head of the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service, earlier reported that&nbsp;nine people had been killed and 34 wounded including 17 in critical condition.</p>

<p>Earlier, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said approximately 30 projectiles were fired from Lebanon.&nbsp;“A short while ago, sirens sounded in the area of Majdal Shams. One projectile was identified crossing from Lebanon toward the area. A hit was identified in the area. Injuries were reported,” the IDF said.</p>

<p>It was not immediately clear who fired the projectiles, with Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah firmly denying its involvement.</p>

<p>“The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon firmly denies the allegations made by some enemy media outlets and various media platforms regarding the targeting of Majdal Shams,” it said in a Telegram channel on Saturday.</p>

<p>The IDF on the other hand, blamed Hezbollah for the attack.</p>

<p>"The Hezbollah terrorist organisation is behind the rocket launch at a soccer field in Majdal Shams," the Israeli army said in a statement.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, local police said&nbsp;munitions have fallen in “multiple sites in the northern Golan.”</p>
