Results show that 84 per cent of respondents intend to support the Democratic presidential candidate in the upcoming election, while only eight per cent said they plan to vote for her Republican rival, and another eight per cent remain undecided.

Regarding opinions on the candidates, 61 per cent of respondents had a "very favourable" view of Harris, while 14 per cent viewed her "very unfavourably." On the other hand, Trump was seen "very favourably" by just 10 per cent, with 74 per cent holding a "very unfavourable" opinion of him.

The VP also continues to hold a lead over the former president among Black women, leading by 81 points. Among Black men, the gap is narrow, with Harris ahead by 59 points. 10 per cent of both men and women have yet to decide.

An Australian man, Craig Laidley, who was swept out of the sea while saving the life of an unknown swimmer in Bali, has been found dead. He managed to save the 29-year-old young German swimmer, Micro Stalla. However, Laidley&nbsp;got carried away in the sea. Witnesses said that both men reached the safety of a few rocks, but while Stalla was pulled out, a huge wave carried Laidley back to sea.&nbsp;

Basarnas, the Indonesian search and rescue organisation, has confirmed that his body was found by residents on Friday (Oct 18) morning at Secret Bay Beach, one kilometre to the west of where he was last seen.&nbsp;

They also thanked search and rescue teams, police, and the public who helped search Laidley. Mark Laidely, his cousin, paid tribute to a “hero [who] paid the ultimate price saving someone he didn’t even know”.&nbsp;
