“I think there are real questions with how he is spending money in this race. How the dark money is flowing, not just into Pennsylvania but apparently now into the pockets of Pennsylvanians,” said Shapiro on Sunday (Oct 20) on NBC News’s “Meet the Press.”

“That is deeply concerning," he added.

Shapiro said that Musk, who has endorsed Trump publicly and made appearances at rallies with him, has a right to express his views.

“I think it raises serious questions that folks may want to take a look at,” he said.

When NBC News’s Kristin Welker asked Shapiro if plans of Musk are legal, the former Pennsylvania attorney general said that he was not able to weigh in on the issue.

“I think it’s something that law enforcement can take a look at,” Shapiro said.

US Elections 2024: Elon Musk, Tesla CEO on Saturday (Oct 19) stepped up his efforts to garner votes for former US president Donald Trump and announced that he would randomly start donating $1 million in cash every day to registered voters in Pennsylvania.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has recently taken an increasingly visible role in Trump's campaign and has even donated $75 million to his political organization America PAC.

Speaking at a campaign event in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Trump announced that he would randomly start distributing cash awards until the November 5 vote to registered voters who signed Trump's organization's petition in support of free speech &amp; right to bear arms. He had previously posted a similar message on X.

Addressing a crowd of his followers in the swing state, Trump said that Harris was more left than Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

"You have to tell Kamala Harris that you've had enough, that you just can't take it anymore. We can't stand you, you're a shit vice president."

To applause, Trump added: "Kamala, you're fired, get the hell out of here, you're fired."

He also made some off-colour comments about golf legend Arnold Palmer, a hometown hero. At the Latrobe event,&nbsp;Trump told voters a long story about Palmer that had mentions of the late golf legend's genitalia.

"He took showers with the other pros, they came out of there and said 'oh my God, that's unbelievable'," said Trump.

Harris campaign was quick to seize the opportunity and commented: "Trump's Pennsylvania closing argument is literal junk. In a Pennsylvania rally speech, his campaign team billed as 'the beginning of his closing argument in the final stretch,' Donald Trump focused on the issue most important to voters in this election: a deceased golfer's … anatomy."

"When he does answer a question or speak at a rally -- have you noticed he tends to go off script and ramble, and generally, for the life of him, cannot finish a thought?" she asked. &nbsp;

Billionaire Elon Musk said that "college is overrated." The owner of X took to social media to share a video of himself speaking about the diminishing value of traditional education and wrote in the caption that "college is overrated".&nbsp;

In the video, Musk was speaking at a solo event organised in support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Philadelphia on Thursday (October 17).

Speaking at the event, Musk said that a lot of people spend their college years accumulating debt and not gaining any practical, useful skills.&nbsp;

"I think the value of a college education is somewhat overweighted. Too many people spend four years, accumulate a ton of debt, and often don't have useful skills that they can apply afterwards," Musk said.

Although Musk himself has earned degrees in physics and economics, he believed that one does not need a four-year degree for success.

He said that practical skills are very important and emphasised that hands-on jobs like electricians, plumbers, and carpenters have a more crucial role in shaping one's career than some academic degrees.

"I have a lot of respect for people who work with their hands, and we need electricians, plumbers, and carpenters, and that's a lot more important than having incremental political science majors," Musk said.

"I think we should not have this idea that in order to be successful you need a four-year college degree. That is simply not true," he said.

<h2>Musk's opposition to traditional education</h2>

This is not the first time Musk has expressed his opposition to traditional education. In 2019, he stated that a college degree is not needed to work in his automotive and energy company, Tesla.

"You don’t need a college degree to work in Tesla," Musk wrote on X.&nbsp;

Speaking at the Satellite 2020 conference, Musk stated, "You don’t need college to learn stuff. Everything is available basically for free."
