<p>Due to the dense fog conditions and low visibility, the Delhi airport has issued an advisory for passengers. It stated, "While landing and takeoffs continue at Delhi Airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted."&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CAT III enables the aircraft to land in low-visibility conditions. The dense fog conditions also delayed many trains which were scheduled to arrive or depart from Delhi stations.</p>

<p>The IMD has predicted light showers in the national capital due to a western disturbance in the Himalayan region on Wednesday and Thursday. On Tuesday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 19 degrees Celsius.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The reduction in minimum temperature also affects air quality and Delhi's air quality index (AQI) stood at 448 at 9:38 am, which falls under the severe zone.&nbsp;</p>

<p>An AQI between 0-50 is regarded as good , 51-100 satisfactory, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 very poor, and 401-500 severe. Above 500 falls under the severe-plus emergency category.</p>

<p>Nearly 30 trains are running late because of the cold weather and dense fog&nbsp;in the North Indian region. Normal operations of the flight services have also been suspended from the Delhi airport due to poor visibility.&nbsp;</p>
