<p>The butter-based cookies are dressed in either red-and-white or blue-and-white sprinkles with a ‘Trump 2024’ or ‘Harris 2024’ banner running through the centre. As of Friday (Sep 13), the bakery had sold 5,200 Trump cookies compared to just 500 Harris cookies.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"In Pennsylvania, almost all of the shipping has been red. We have only shipped seven packages of blue in the state of Pennsylvania," the bakery said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We saw this in 2020 as well.&nbsp;A third of that number is being shipped across the United States, we’re seeing people from all over get these cookies now," it added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The third-generation bakery has been running the 'sugary' poll since 2012 - having predicted the outcome of three of the four elections to the tee.</p>

<p>The only time the bakery wrongly predicted the result was in 2020 when Joe Biden managed to upstage Trump. Even then, Lochel's Bakery sold a total of&nbsp;31,804 Trump cookies and only 5,750 Biden cookies.</p>

<p>Currently, Harris was on her way to securing 241 votes of the 538 available electoral votes while Trump was projected to finish with 291 votes. To secure the presidency, a candidate must secure 270 electoral votes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As for the Senate, the Republican still led with a 67 per cent chance of taking the majority, which was an 11 per cent fall from when Biden led the Democratic ticket.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Control of the House is still a relative toss-up, with the GOP having a 56 per cent&nbsp;chance of winning control compared to their&nbsp;61 per cent chance prior to Biden dropping off," the poll report added.&nbsp;</p>
