A Delhi court on Tuesday decided to reserve its judgment on the Unnao rape case in which a former Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kuldeep Singh Sengar and Shashi Singh are the prime accused.&nbsp;

The judgment is expected to be declared by District Judge Dharmesh Sharma on December 16.

According to the charge sheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 3, the victim was kidnapped and raped for nine days at different locations by three people in 2017. The victim was legally a minor at the time.

Earlier, the court had passed an order on an FIR relating to the Arms Act and about the custodial death of the victim's father. The two were clubbed together owing to connections in terms of witnesses and incidents.

The court added that the accused had detained the victim's father to ensure the complaint isn't pursued.&nbsp;

Earlier in July, the victim and her lawyer had sustained serious injuries in a truck collision, which killed her aunts.

Allegedly, the victim had approached Sengar for a job at his residence on June 4, 2017, when she was raped.

The Uttar Pradesh administration on Sunday said that all the demands of Unnao rape victim's family have been accepted.

Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Mukesh Meshram said that they held talks with the victim's family and assured them of all possible help and assistance.

"Whatever their demands -- that case should be put to trial in fast track court so that culprits are given strictest punishment on time...apart from that, the family of the deceased victim is poor, and their resources are very limited. We would provide them facilities which can be sanctioned by the government," Meshram said while speaking to reporters here.

Meanwhile, the mortal remains of the Unnao rape victim are being taken for the last rites by the family today.

The officer also informed that arrangement for the 24-hours security for the sister of the victim and as demanded by the victim's brother, a license will be provided to him as per arms act.

"The sister (of the deceased) had raised questions about her security since she believes she has a lot of evidence...so we said we will make arrangement for 24 hours security and it will be provided to her from right now," he said.

He also said that a job will be provided to the victim's sister and apart from this, "two houses will be provided to them under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana since it is a big family," he said.

Regarding the family's demand to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Meshram said the family wants to convey their feelings to him and appropriate arrangements will be made for the same.

After battling for life at Delhi's Safdarjung hospital, the victim, who was set ablaze while on her way to a court hearing on Thursday morning, died at 11:40 pm on Friday.

The 23-year-old was airlifted from Lucknow's SMC Government Hospital to Delhi for treatment at Safdarjung Hospital on Thursday.

According to the police, the five accused had allegedly thrown kerosene on the woman and set her ablaze when she was on her way to a local court for the hearing of the case she had filed in March.&nbsp;

Naseeruddin Shah on Monday spoke about a disturbing rape culture in India and the spike in rape cases being reported by the media calling it a “positive sign” at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Hope Aur Hum. “In fact, there is a very wonderful thing that I read yesterday in a newspaper where a rape survivor was saying that why should the victim have to hide her face? In fact, the accused, who committed the crime should be ashamed, they should hide their faces. It’s a threatful situation... I guess it’s a good thing that media is so alert about all these things nowadays. It surely makes our morning horrifying, as the moment you open the newspaper, such news appears. But it is good that such incidents are talked about.”

He, however, pointed out that this is not the solution and said, "We are talking about a generational change of mindset, that cannot happen overnight. What we can do, is to trend set the example in our personal lives. We cannot keep on policing or not every girl possibly keeps a pistol or learns martial arts. It has to begin with us, with each one of us.”

The trailer launch of Hope Aur Hum was attended by the cast and crew of the film including actress Sonali Kulkarni, Naveen Kasturia, along with child actors of the film and director Sudip Bandyopadhyay. The film is slated to release on May 11.

To which ADG informed that the postmortem report states cause of death to be shock and septicemia due to peritonitis and ascending colon perforation.

Following the incident, two police officers and four constables were&nbsp;suspended.

The ADG also said that so far clean chit has not been given to anyone in the matter.
