An agent from Zomato food delivery company found a way out when he had an order to deliver and a customer waiting for it. The agent found himself stuck due to fuel shortage and vehicles flooding the fuel stations in a bid to&nbsp;refill their tanks.&nbsp;

In a perfect example of turning the situation to one's favour, the Zomato agent resorted to a way that is not only extremely rare but also too unique to believe. The agent rode on horseback to ensure that the customer got the food package on time.&nbsp;

This came as many truckers had been holding protests to mark their opposition against the new legal provisions in hit-and-run cases.&nbsp;

The incident took place close to the Imperial Hotel in Hyderabad's Chanchalguda neighbourhood. The delivery person was seen riding the horse with sheer perfection as other vehicles passed by in business as usual.&nbsp;

The video of the delivery person, who is seen wearing the company's red t-shirt with its logo on it has gone viral on social media platforms. The sight of the Zomato person was strange yet intriguing for many who were seen slowing down their vehicles and taking a look at the agent with his horse.&nbsp;

Days after Brazil government reached a deal with transport union which was rejected by Brazilian Association of Truckers rejected the deal Brazilian President Michel Temer lowered the price of diesel on Monday in second attempt to end the truckers' strike which continued for seven days.

The diesel prices have been cut by 46 Brazilian cents ($0.13) per litre which would be maintained for 60 days.

The diesel rates the would be adjusted monthly.

It has also signed a bill which will allow truckers not to pay the toll on rear axles when not in use.

President&nbspMichel Temer announced this in a televised speech.

However, there is no confirmation on whether the truckers' has accepted the government's agreement.

The country whose economy runs largely on road transport was crippled for a week after truckers' union was on strike.

The demonstrators are protesting against the rising diesel prices, as they blocked main roads in nearly all states of Brazil which already has limited rail services.

Following the strike airports and gas stations were running out of fuel as well as agricultural exports was also hit.&nbsp

Air services were also affected. According to reports, Brasilia, the capital of Brazil allowed landings of the planes which had enough fuel to take off again.&nbsp

Various abattoirs had also halted operations, affecting a key export sector.&nbsp

Following the supply problem people also faced a hike in prices of fruits and vegetables. In some places, prices were reportedly hiked up to 400 per cent.

Pump prices were also higher as long lines were formed at many gas stations.

Brazil: President Michel Temer reduces diesel price as measure to end crippling strike

After days of continued nationwide strike by Truckers in Brazil, the government and transport unions reached a deal to suspend the strike which&nbspcaused a massive shortage of fuel and food in various areas.&nbsp

President Michel Temer's chief of staff, Eliseu Padilha told reporters that the Union heads representing truckers have committed to "suspend the strike movement for 15 days when a new meeting with the government will be held."

The announcement was made on the night of the fourth day of the strike after the seven hours of negotiations with transportation unions.

After the negotiations on Thursday, the government has also assured to abolish at least one tax on diesel and implement subsidies to maintain a temporary 10 per cent fuel price reduction.

The demonstrators are protesting against the rising diesel prices, as the blocked main roads in nearly all states of Brazil which already has limited rail services.

Brazil's economy runs largely on road transport, and truckers are on strike from past four days paralyzing transportation of the country.

Following the strike airports and gas stations were running out of fuel as well as agricultural exports was also hit.&nbsp
