He "brazenly stole thousands of trade computer scripts that took Tesla years to develop" and transferred them to his personal Dropbox account, as per Musk's company.

However, Khatilov has denied these accusations and has claimed he was only transferring "a couple of personal administrative documents". The company's security team claims he was trying to delete the evidence.

Khatilov said he was trying to make a backup of his folder on his computer and ended up copying the software files by mistake.

Tesla, on the other hand, is not believing their former employee's defense. The company said the stolen files represent "200 man-years of work" and are "a roadmap to copy Tesla's innovation", making these documents extremely important for the company and their competitors.

Khatilov is one of the 40 employees — out of nearly 50,000 — to have access to these highly confidential scripts. However, the company also said that they had "nothing to do with his responsibilities".

The tequila is being defined as a "small-batch premium 100% de agave tequila añejo made from sustainably sourced highland and lowland agaves" on Tesla's official website. Officials claim this añejo, which typically from one to three years in oak, was aged for 15 months. The orders for this are limited to two bottles per person, as of now. The orders are no yet open for worldwide distribution due to&nbsp;industry regulations; only a few states in the US have permission to sell the new and pricey bottle of tequila.

After launching the expensive and much-awaited bottle, Musk replied to his own tweet from April 2018 as a form of the formal announcement on the social media platform.

The S&amp;P 500 Index Committee on Friday decided to add e-commerce site Etsy, automatic test equipment maker Teradyne and pharmaceutical firm Catalent to the S&amp;P 500 but stopped short of including Tesla.

After Tesla reported its fourth consecutive quarter of profitability in July, some investors expected the company to be included this quarter. Following the news, the company's stock dropped 7 per cent after hours on Friday.&nbsp;

The American markets were closed on Monday because of Labor Day.&nbsp;

Tesla added it “can differentiate between a child and an object left on the seat, reducing the likelihood of false alarms” and can detect “micromovements like breathing patterns and heart rates, neither of which can be captured by cameras or in-seat sensors alone.”

Radar imaging, Tesla adds, can assess body size to optimize airbag deployment in a crash depending on whether an adult or child is seated, which it says would be more effective than existing weight-based, in-seat sensor systems.

It would also more accurately determine when to engage seat belt reminders.

The FCC is seeking public comment on Tesla’s request through September 21.

Tesla notes the FCC in 2018 granted a similar request for a device of Alphabet Inc’s Google that works under identical operating parameters.

Valeo North America submitted a request in March to the FCC for its in-vehicle safety-related monitoring device that would also detect children in cars. The request is pending.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says more than 50 children died when left behind in hot cars in both 2019 and 2018. Of those incidents, 54% occurred because someone forgot a child.
