<p>Chopra, however, praised Samson for being fluent with the bat in the first match of the three-T20I series and pointed out that he was looking for timing rather than hitting the ball hard.</p>

<p>"You need to talk about Sanju Samson. Abhishek Sharma was playing amazingly well until he was there but he got run out. But how well did Sanju play. Gautam Gambhir said long back that if Sanju Samson doesn't play for India, it's India's loss. He was made to open. The silken touch was seen. He wasn't hitting the ball hard. It seemed like he didn't want to hurt the ball, and he was hitting one four after another. When everyone was hitting, he also hit but by caressing the ball. You were getting hit, you were bleeding but you were not feeling the pain," the former India cricketer added.</p>

<p>Samson has been in and out of the side for long now and has been able to play only 31 T20Is since making his debut in the shortest format back in 2015.</p>

<p>In the matches he has played, Samson has been able to score only 473 runs at an average of 19.70 and a strike rate of 132 with just two fifties to his name.</p>

After that, the next ball was a dot before Nipiko overstepped&nbsp;for the second time and then bowled another no-ball when Visser cleared the fine leg fence for another maximum.&nbsp;The last ball&nbsp;was a low full toss outside off stump and Visser, who was timing it with perfection, flicked it over deep square leg to smash 39 runs&nbsp;in an&nbsp;over.</p>

In 2021, West Indies' Kieron Pollard repeated the feat against Sri Lanka's Akila Dananjaya whereas&nbsp;Nepal's Dipendra Singh Airee achieved it earlier this year.</p>

<p>The other two instances of 36-run overs also came recently, both in this year, however, they did not contain six sixes. <p>Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also announced retirement from T20 Internationals after the Men-in-Blue lifted a historic second T20 World Cup trophy, beating South Africa in the final on Saturday (Jun 29).</p>

<p>Jadeja, who played all matches in the tournament, including the all-important summit clash, took to his social media handles to convey the news of his retirement.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"With a heart full of gratitude, I bid farewell to T20 internationals. Like a steadfast horse galloping with pride, I’ve always given my best for my country and will continue to do so in other formats," wrote Jadeja.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Winning the T20 World Cup was a dream come true, a pinnacle of my T20 International career. Thank you for the memories, the cheers, and the unwavering support," he added.</p>

Ravindra Jadeja announces retirement from T20Is after India’s World Cup victory

<p>Estonia's Sahil Chauhan has smashed the fastest century in T20Is, off just 27 balls, breaking Namibia batter Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton record of 33 balls made in February earlier this year.</p>

<p>Chauhan smashed 144 not out in 41 balls, hitting 18 sixes and six fours against Cyprus on Monday (June 17). His 27-ball ton is also the fastest in all T20s - going past Chris Gayle's 30-ball hundred for Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Pune Warriors India in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2013.</p>

<p>Chahan's 18 sixes also the most by an individual in a men's T20I, surpassing Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai's 16 sixes against Ireland in 2019.</p>
