According to an India Today report, Reshma Behera was admitted to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital after she complained of severe headaches. After a CT scan, it was revealed that she had numerous needles inserted in her skull and was referred to VIMSAR for specialised treatment.

After various tests and scans, an intensive surgery was scheduled to remove all the needles. The doctors successfully extracted 77 needles after an operation which lasted several hours.

Director Bhabagrahi Rath said, “So far, 77 needles have been retrieved from the girl’s head in two surgeries. Fortunately, the needles have not caused any bone injuries, but there are soft tissue injuries.”&nbsp;

According to reports, since her mother's death four years ago, Reshma has been suffering from health issues. The family decided to seek help from a sorcerer in 2021. The&nbsp;needles in her head were detected after she complained of pain, and her family then&nbsp;sought medical help.

According to India Today, the woman's father said that she did not know about the needles as she fell unconscious during the sorcerer's session. The sorcerer had taken her into a room for an hour. A complaint against him was registered with the police, after which he was arrested.&nbsp;

China Southern Airlines' Flight CZ8805 encountered an unusual delay earlier this week on March 6 when a passenger's attempt at seeking good luck disrupted the scheduled departure. Originally set to take off from the southern city of Sanya for Beijing at 10 AM (local time), the flight faced a postponement until around 2 PM due to an unexpected incident.

According to CNN, a flight attendant discovered that a passenger had thrown three to five coins into the engine in a superstitious act aimed at invoking good fortune. The delayed departure prompted an investigation by the flight crew to ensure the safety of the aircraft.

Upon questioning, the passenger reportedly admitted to the coin-throwing, explaining that it was done as a prayer for luck. The coins were subsequently found in the engine during the safety check.&nbsp;

The flight attendant discovered the coins following which the passenger, aged 80, was taken away. He&nbsp;is heard on camera saying "three to five" coins.&nbsp;

The police later detained the passenger for the act, reported state media.

The incident took place on April 24, 2023, when the thieves barged into the house of the realtor and beat his wife in front of the children, tied her hands and then ran away from the house with gold ornaments, cash and other items worth Rs 1.07 crore ($128,959 ~ $129,000), stated the police, who filed a first information report (FIR) at the Baramati taluka police station on the basis of information provided by victim Trupti Gofne.&nbsp;

Six men, which included the astrologer, were arrested by the police in this case. The accused were identified as Sachin Ashok Jagdhane (30), of Baramati, Rayba Tanaji Chavan (32) of Indapur, Ravindra Shivaji Bhosale (27) of Baramati, Duryodhan alias Deepak alias Pappu Jadhav (35) of Phaltan in Satara, Nitin Arjun More (36) of Solapur and the astrologer Ramchandra Weaman Chavan (43) of Phaltan.

Pune rural police issued a press release which stated that complainant Trupti lives at Devkate Nagar in Baramati, a city in Maharastra, along with her two children and her husband Sagar Gofne. On April 21, her husband visited the Tirupati Balaji temple and a group of men entered their house around 8 pm local time.&nbsp;

The men allegedly thrashed Trupti, gagged her with a cloth piece and tied her hands and legs in front of her children. The men looted&nbsp;Rs 95.30 lakh in cash ($114,858), two cell phones worth&nbsp;Rs 35,000 ($421.81) and gold ornaments worth Rs 11,59,300 ($13,972) from the house and escaped.&nbsp;

<h2>Investigation reveals the whereabouts of the accused thieves</h2>

The superintendent of Pune rural police was informed about the incident after which he started an investigation.&nbsp;

As per the investigation, the five accused worked in the same company and knew each other well. &nbsp;The men conspired to loot Sagar Gofne after the accused Sachin Jagdhane received information about the ornaments and money at the realtor’s house.

The police stated that the booty was divided among the accused thieves after they committed the crime and the astrologer was paid Rs 8 lakh ($9641.86).
