An advertisement made by Sri Lankan&nbsp;Airlines garnered a lot of appreciation on social media platforms for showing the "Ramayana Trail" which took the viewers on a journey to different iconic locations related to the Hindu epic Ramayana.&nbsp;

In the five-minute advertisement, the grandmother is seen narrating the Hindu epic to her grandson through a children's book.&nbsp;

In the video, the grandson questions about the island where Sita was taken by Ravan after getting kidnapped. Then, the grandmother tells him the story of the kingdom of Ravan which is today Sri Lanka.

"All the places in the Ramayana are real. Today we know Lanka as Sri Lanka," the grandmother says and the video shows the visuals of Ravan's Cave close to Ella town where it is believed Sita was kept before being taken to the Ashoka Vatika, which was inside the palace of the demon king.&nbsp;

The incident happened on the Sri Lankan Airlines flight from Sydney to Colombo on Monday. The captain allegedly locked out the First Officer during the 10-hour trip following an altercation.

Local reports suggest that the captain was angry because the First Officer had failed to arrange for a replacement for the duration she was away as per the standard operating procedures. They had even had a verbal spat about the same before she left. After returning from the toilet, the co-pilot failed to enter the cockpit.&nbsp;

A tense standoff ensued between the two mid-flight as the captain refused to open the door. A senior flight attendant intervened to end the drama and negotiated with the captain over the plane's interphone system, asking him to let the co-pilot back into the cockpit.

There were 297 passengers on the aircraft which safely landed at its destination later.

Different airlines have different rules regarding the number of pilots required to be present inside the cockpit. However, most mandate that two of them are in the cockpit at all times. This follows incidents of lone pilots left in control on a few occasions, leading to safety concerns.

On similar lines, Sri Lankan Airlines also requires at least two people to be in the cockpit at any one time.&nbsp;

Angry pilot locks female co-pilot out of cockpit after she takes a toilet break

India's state-run oil and gas explorer and producer Bharat Petroleum has refuelled more than 100 aircraft of Sri Lankan airlines, which had a long haul at Indian airports. It comes at a time when the southern island country is facing its worst-ever economic crisis, which has resulted in a shortage of foreign currency, aviation fuel, food, fertilizers, etc.&nbsp;

In an update released on social media, Bharat Petroleum revealed that more than 100 Sri Lankan airlines flights were refuelled so far at airports in India's southern cities of Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai and Kochi.&nbsp;

"These refuelling has been done over the last fortnight by mobilising the assets and manpower for the on-time service, at very short notice. We have been associated with <a href="https://twitter.com/flysrilankan" target="_blank">@flysrilankan</a> for over a decade, as their refuelling partners." added the tweet.&nbsp;

Responding to the same, Sri Lankan Airlines tweeted, thanking the Indian state-run oil company and added that they truly value the partnership.&nbsp;&nbsp;
