#Gravitas Haryana has reported a major drop in girl child births, prompting the state government to step up action against illegal sex selection and involve religious leaders in awareness campaigns. The fall has led the government to direct pandits, maulvis and granthis across the state to counsel newlywed couples against sex selection during marriage ceremonies.
