<p>"Dwayne!" Gal Gadot exclaimed to WION's question about her main motivation behind taking up 'Red Notice'. "No, but to be honest. Rawson Marshall Thurber, our wonderful director and writer. When he first pitched me the idea for the movie, I was blown away by the ambitiousness and how surprising the story is. And I was also very intrigued to be able to play a character who's a bit different than what I usually used to do," she further told WION, exclusively.&nbsp;</p>

He is such a sweetheart."&nbsp;</p>

"I'll tell you the truth. I was a bit nervous at the beginning just because, you know DJ is a giant man and I have feet down there, so I wasn't sure what was going to happen. And I kept telling DJ, we're going to practice, we're going to rehearse. And he was super cool, kept on calming me down and saying, don't worry, this is going to be great. And of course, that just made me more nervous. But then he showed up, and this guy is a freaking ballerina. I don't know how it works with like physics rules and all that, but he had, he's so talented and such a good dancer. And it was so much fun to shoot the scene with you," added the 'Wonder Woman' star while elaborating on the difficult aspect of her creative collaboration on 'Red Notice'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Spread across multiple touristy places, countries and continents (in no specific order)—London, Bali, Egypt, Russia, to name just a few—a flamboyant The Bishop (Gal Gadot) frames the now disgraced FBI profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) as he finds himself on the wrong side of the law. A charming, former world’s-greatest-thief Nolan Booth, however, is hell-bent on helping him clear his name. On the surface, it’s a classic arrangement of ‘convenience’—a recurring theme in the movie—but has any heist ever been simple? There’s the tussle over the title of world’s greatest thief, there’s Cleopatra’s eggs in the narrative, and then there are snitches and goons to combat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>‘Red Notice’ is your quintessential fast-paced, excitement-evoking heist, but, sadly, without an innovative trail to follow or even the path that leads its audience to an oh-so-very predictable climax.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Clearly, director Rawson Marshall Thurber was banking on the collective star power of Johnson, Gadot and Reynolds to ride this one out and emerge victorious. Truth be told, that formula sticks in certain sections of the movie, especially with Reynolds’ humour—after all, it is because of one-liners like “adult virgins have been obsessing over Cleopatra’s eggs” that we love the actor so much. Don’t we? As for Gadot, with that slender frame, never-ending legs and flamboyance that could move even the hardest of them all; she appears to be the poster child of the sex-meets-thrill phenomena. Dwayne Johnson does Dwayne Johnson things in ‘Red Notice’—flexes his sculpted muscles, performs impossibly difficult action scenes, mouths high-sounding dialogues in his deep-set voice and charms his spectators over.</p>

<p>‘Red Notice’ is off to a stupendous start, with plenty of subplots rendered to keep the narrative flowing and its audience, engaged. However, somewhere between expensive parties and beach-side shenanigans, the film loses its initial sheen. The climax—oh, the climax!—could be predicted from a mile away, and, even then, it is depressing for lack of originality.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Dwayne Johnson's latest hybrid outing--'Red Notice--will see the cast, comprising Ryan Renolds and Gal Gadot, joking about Diesel auditioning for a role in 'Cats'.</p>

<p>Rumours of tension between Johnson and Diesel began making the rounds back in 2016, while 'Fast &amp; Furious 8' eight was underway.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In an Instagram post, Johnson referred to some of his colleagues--reportedly directed towards Diesel--as 'candy asses'. "When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you're right," he had written.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, in another interview, Johnson made it clear that all was not well between the two, stating they had a "fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach moviemaking and collaborating."</p>

<p>In June of this year, Diesel made headlines again when he addressed the then-forgotten fued, saying, "tough love to assist in getting that performance where it needed to be" while filming the Fast series with Johnson.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Subsequently, Johnson said that the day he made the Instagram post about a possible on-set clash with Diesel wasn't the best day of his life, but he stands by what he had said.</p>
