<p>The Pakistani government has reacted angrily to Ataullah's statement. Threats against the country, according to Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, have no place in the political process.</p>

<p>Imran Khan, who was ousted from power in April through a no-trust vote, has been claiming that the no-trust motion against him was the result of a "foreign conspiracy" because his independent foreign policy and funds were being channelled from abroad to oust him from power. He has named the U.S. as the country behind the conspiracy, a charge denied by Washington.</p>

<p>His supporters have warned of a threat to his life, and in early April, then-information minister Fawad Chaudhry revealed that security agencies had identified a conspiracy to assassinate Mr. Khan.</p>

<p>Mr. Khan reaffirmed the threat to his life on May 14 during a rally, telling his followers that he had filmed a video in which he had recorded the identities of all those who "conspired against me."</p>

<p>However, a sitting legislator threatening suicide is unusual.</p>

<p>Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has claimed that a troika of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi and her friend Farah Gogi made "billions" under the tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.</p>

<p>"It started in 2019, when Imran Khan gave a relief worth Pakistani rupees 320 million to Ahsan Jamil Gujjar - Farah`s husband - under an amnesty scheme," PML-N leader Atta Ullah Tarar said during a press conference.</p>

<p>The Express Tribune quoting Tarar reported that the former Prime Minister gave the relief due to his personal relations and friendship between Bushra and Farah.</p>

<p>During the conversation, the woman said to her father that Farah Gogi allegedly demanded a precious diamond as a gift for the ex-first lady in return for "removing locks" on a project site and withdrawing a report against her father, The Express Tribune reported.</p>

<p>It was revealed during that discussion that Farah Gogi earlier had rejected a three-carat diamond sent by the daughter of a business tycoon as unworthy and unsuitable for the first lady, who she allegedly said routinely wore such things, and asked for a five-carat diamond.</p>

<p>While property tycoon Malik Riaz on Sunday termed an audio clip attributed to him on social media as "fake". He also threatened to take legal action against those behind the 'conspiracy'.</p>

<p>"With latest technologies as Deep Fake, fabricating an audio conversation shouldn't be a surprise," Riaz said in his statement cited by The Express Tribune.</p>

<p>He said that the audio tape associated to him on social media is a product of Deep Fake. "I don't wish to [be] involve[d] in political campaigns of any party, but the most appalling fact is that my voice and reference is being misused to settle personal and political scores," he added.</p>

<p>Uzma Bukhari, another PML-N leader, said that her party knew about the misconduct of the PTI government, adding that now 'proofs'&nbsp;are being surfaced for everyone to see.</p>

<p>"The audio reveals just one case [of bribery] but it is not the entire story... it is only a trailer of a film," she added.</p>

<p>Uzma said that Imran Khan had kept two "front women" to hide his corruption. "There is a saying that there is a woman behind the success of every man but in Imran Khan's case there were two women," she added.&nbsp;</p>

Shehbaz govt accuses Imran Khan, wife Bushra, her friend of making billions during PTI tenure

<p>After Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah issued a warning regarding Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's possible arrest upon the expiry of his three-week transit bail granted on June 2 by the security officials deployed outside his Bani Gala residence, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) members warned of a “strong backlash” from its workers.</p>

<p>PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi asked PTI workers to come up with a "quick response" if Imran Khan is arrested, reported Geo News. "The PTI will retaliate in a strong manner if Imran Khan is arrested. And if PTI workers receive news of Imran Khan's arrest, they should come upon with a quick response to it," Qureshi said in a press conference after attending the party's core committee meeting.</p>

<p>Peshawar High Court on June 2 granted Imran Khan three-week transit bail against a surety bond of Pakistani rupees 50,000, ahead of PTI's second long march to Islamabad. Rana Sanaullah has said that Imran Khan has been charged in over two dozen cases including rioting, sedition, chaos and armed attacks at the federation, The News International reported.</p>

<p>While responding to Qureshi's press conference, Sanaullah said that whoever breaks the law will be dealt with by the law. "Martyrdom of an innocent police officer, using weapons and ammunition is not a political reaction," said the interior minister. He added that the government cannot act as a mere spectator if the PTI "lies and creates anarchy" in the country.</p>

<p>"The law and order will be strictly implemented, we will not break the law nor will we allow it," said the interior minister, adding that as soon as Imran Khan returned to Bani Gala, he started spreading a "new pack of lies".</p>

<p>A few hours earlier, the interior minister had revealed that the decision to deploy security officials at Bani Gala to guard PTI Chairman Imran Khan was made as per the law, however, the "same security" officials will arrest him once his bail expires, reported Geo News.</p>

PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi asked PTI workers to come up with a "quick response" if Imran Khan is arrested, reported Geo News. "The PTI will retaliate in a strong manner if Imran Khan is arrested. And if PTI workers receive news of Imran Khan's arrest, they should come upon with a quick response to it," Qureshi said in a press conference after attending the party's core committee meeting. Peshawar High Court on June 2 granted Imran Khan three-week transit bail against a surety bond of Pakistani rupees 50,000, ahead of PTI's second long march to Islamabad. Rana Sanaullah has said that Imran Khan has been charged in over two dozen cases including rioting, sedition, chaos and armed attacks at the federation, The News International reported. While responding to Qureshi's press conference, Sanaullah said that whoever breaks the law will be dealt with by the law. "Martyrdom of an innocent police officer, using weapons and ammunition is not a political reaction," said the interior minister. He added that the government cannot act as a mere spectator if the PTI "lies and creates anarchy" in the country. "The law and order will be strictly implemented, we will not break the law nor will we allow it," said the interior minister, adding that as soon as Imran Khan returned to Bani Gala, he started spreading a "new pack of lies". A few hours earlier, the interior minister had revealed that the decision to deploy security officials at Bani Gala to guard PTI Chairman Imran Khan was made as per the law, however, the "same security" officials will arrest him once his bail expires, reported Geo News. <p>A press conference hosted by Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan witnessed some heated moments after a journalist raised questions about governance and on his supporters allegedly abusing the Army general, prompting the cricketer-turned-politician to storm out of the event.</p>

<p>The press conference took place in Peshawar city on Friday evening.</p>

<p>During a Q &amp; A session after Khan completed his talk, the reporter suggested that the governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which is ruled by Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party,&nbsp;was poor.</p>

<p>“...Secondly, you have a government in KP, and you are without a doubt a popular leader in Pakhtunkhwa. People cast votes for you, but people have not seen the walls of the prime minister's house and governor's house being demolished, nor did they see universities being built in the chief minister's house," Geo TV quoted the reporter as saying.</p>

<p>The scribe also claimed that PTI's "keyboard and social media warriors" have been running trends on social media "abusing the army general".</p>

Protesters set fire to trees and vehicles, according to Pakistan police. The police said in a post on Twitter that after the fire bigrade put out the fires, the protestors set fire to the Express Chowrangi again.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, the Pakistani government has ordered the Pakistan Army to be deployed in Islamabad. The Pakistan Army will be stationed at major government facilities, such as the Supreme Court and the Parliament Building.</p>

<p>The order stated, "Pursuant to law and order situation in Islamabad Capital Territory, the federal government in exercise of powers conferred under Article 245 of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is pleased to authorize deployment of sufficient troops of Pakistan army in Red Zone in aid of civil war to protection of important government buildings, including Supreme Court of Pakistan, Parliamentary House."</p>
