Maldonado-Passage, who has been sentenced to 22 years in federal prison for a murder-for-hire against Carole Baskin: a fellow exotic animal park owner who was at loggerheads with Joe over various reasons.

 
According to Netflix's caption underneath the announcement post for 'Tiger King 2', the video-streaming giant has promised more madness and mayhem. It wrote, "Tiger King is coming back this year — and Season 2 promises just as much mayhem and madness as Season 1!"

Just like the first season--which dropped on March 20 last year and went viral on the platform almost immediately--'Tiger King 2' will also be directed by duo Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin.

In the platform's latest compilation video for other crime shows, carol Baskin can be seen venturing into the U.S. Capitol, while Joe Exotic is on the phone in prison and there seems to be a billboard, asking, "Who killed Don Lewis?"

Lewis was the co-founder of Big Cat Rescue and former husband of Baskin, who mysteriously disappeared in 1997. She has been accused of feeding him to his own tigers by people over the years, Joe included. &nbsp;

Five Republican US&nbsp;senators urged Netflix this week to reconsider plans to adapt the book into a TV series because they said the author has defended the Chinese government`s clampdown on ethnic Uighurs and other Muslims in the Xinjiang region 'The Three-Body Problem'&nbsp;and two sequels were written by Liu Cixin.

Netflix announced this month that it was turning the books into a live-action, English-language TV series led by D.B Weiss and David Benioff, the creators of HBO megahit 'Game of Thrones'. Liu serves as a consulting producer on the project. 
 
"Mr. Liu is the author of the book not the creator of this show. We do not agree with his comments, which are entirely unrelated to his book or this Netflix show," said Netflix Global Public Policy Vice President Dean Garfield in a letter to the senators.

The Netflix streaming service is available in more than 190 countries but does not operate in China. The United States and human rights groups have criticized China`s treatment of the Uighurs.

The docuseries is directed by Greg Whiteley of the fame ‘Last Chance U’ as it takes a look at what kind of athleticism and pain it takes for a team to reach the top in the world of competitive cheerleading.
