What was he so scared of that murdering someone looked less scary to him?</p>

We all want spectacular success for our kids, which by itself is not an illegal thought but if that pressure of expectation is pushing our kids into life-threatening activities, there must be something terribly wrong with our dreams.</p>

<p>Let all of our kids prosper. Let them live a life of milk and honey. But as parents, as teachers, as members of the civil society, we have to make sure that we act as their lifeguards. Rather than seek escape routes&nbsp;in the dark alleys of crime, they have to reach out to us if they feel insecure.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We shouldn&#39;t fail our children. If we do, then the blood they spill is in our hands too.</p>

<p>Anjali Rathour, a 23-year-old trainee engineer working with a mobile phone maker was chased out of her house and shot in a&nbsp;parking area located in the basement of the housing society in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.</p>

<p>The horrific killing was caught on&nbsp;CCTV camera, however, the identity of the killer could not be ascertained as the CCTV at the entrance of the society wasn&#39;t working.</p>

<p>&nbsp;Anjali Rathour&#39;s ex-classmate Ashvani Yadav is the prime suspect after he is reported to have called her twice just before she was killed.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident occurred in the early morning hours in Noida&#39;s Shatabdi Rail Vihar in sector-62&nbsp;on Wednesday around 6:30am, the killer entered the society and exited without much trouble. In fact, the killer managed to chase the girl into the parking lot at the basement even though there were guards in the compound.</p>

<p>The killer who is seen with a backpack shot &nbsp;Anjali Rathour at point-blank range, then stayed at the scene and seemed to have made a phone call.</p>

<p>Anjali&#39;s family have&nbsp;named Ashvani Yadav as the prime suspect. The Uttar Pradesh police are investigating the case.</p>

Gang rape survivor found murdered, Samajwadi Party MLA booked

<p>A 26-year-old security guard has been apprehended in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman IT professional from Infosys, who was found dead last night in a conference room of the company in Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park at Hinjawadi in Pune, police said on Monday.</p>

<p>&quot;On the basis of the CCTV footage from the company premises and other clues, we zeroed down on a security guard from Assam, who after the incident, fled and now has been held in Mumbai,&quot; said Arun Waikar, the senior police inspector with Hinjawadi Police Station.</p>

<p>The suspect has been identified as Bhabhen Saikia, who was deployed as a guard at the Infosys unit, and is being brought to Pune, he said.</p>

<p>OP Rasila from Kerala, who was working as a system engineer with Infosys was found dead after she was allegedly strangulated with the help of a computer cord and was hit hard on the face, police said.</p>

<p>According to police, the incident might have taken place at around 5 pm, but police received the call around 8 pm&nbsp;last night.</p>

<p>ACP Vaishali Jadhav-Mane had said on Sunday night that the techie was working in the conference room on the ninth floor of Infosys&#39;s Phase-II campus whereas her two team mates were online from Bangalore.</p>

<p>&quot;Her manager was trying to call her, but there was no response. He then called and asked a security guard to go and check, and when the security guard went to see her, the woman was found lying on the floor in an unconscious state in the conference room,&quot; the officer had said.</p>

<p>An offence has been registered under the section of 302 (murder) and further investigation is on, said police adding the process of post mortem is underway.</p>

India: Woman found dead on Infosys Pune campus, security guard arrested

A New York man was charged on Monday with second-degree murder in the deaths of a New York Muslim imam and his assistant, who were gunned down at the weekend, a police spokesman said.<br />

The charges against Oscar Morel, 35, of Brooklyn, came just hours after hundreds of mourners gathered for the outdoor funeral of the two men. The killings in the borough of Queens had shocked the neighborhood`s Bangladeshi community.<br />

Morel was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of Imam Maulama Akonjee, 55, and Thara Uddin, 64, the police spokesman said.<br />

He also was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The spokesman did not disclose any possible motive for the shooting.<br />
