<p>Speaking on his performance after LSG's 28-run win, Yadav said: "Feeling really good to get two Player-of-the-Match [awards] in two games but I'm more happy that we won both games. My aim is to do well for the country for as many years as I can. This is just the start, and my focus is on the main goal."</p>

<p>The pacer also spoke about what helps him bowl at express speeds - a rarity in India.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"You need quite a few things to bowl at this pace - like diet, sleep and training," Mayank said. "If you want to bowl fast, it's important to be perfect in everything. My focus is on my diet, and also on my recovery - like [taking] ice bath."</p>

<p>Yadav dismissed Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar in the match. His wicket of Green was the highlight&nbsp;as he beat the Aussie by sheer pace to rattle his off stump after conceding a four on the previous delivery.</p>

<p>RCB skipper Faf du Plessis was also impressed with Yadav and praised him for his accuracy at high speed.</p>

<p>"Really impressive to see his pace. But more impressive for me tonight was his ability to control length and bowl with some really good discipline. That's more impressing - pace combined with accuracy," said Faf after his team's third loss in four games.</p>

<p>With their second win in three games, LSG now are fourth on the 10-team points table with four points. RCB, on the other hand, are ninth with only two points, just above Mumbai Indians who are yet to open their account.&nbsp;</p>

My aim is to do well for the country for as many years as I can. This is just the start, and my focus is on the main goal." The pacer also spoke about what helps him bowl at express speeds - a rarity in India. "You need quite a few things to bowl at this pace - like diet, sleep and training," Mayank said. "If you want to bowl fast, it's important to be perfect in everything. My focus is on my diet, and also on my recovery - like [taking] ice bath." Yadav dismissed Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar in the match. <p>As for the match, LSG batted first and scored a decent total of 181/5 in 20 overs. For Lucknow, Quinton de Kock top-scored with 56-ball 81 while Nicholas Pooran hit an unbeaten 21-ball 40. <p>Picking right up from where he had left, Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Mayank Yadav silenced the Chinnaswamy crowd with his rapid pace by tearing into the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batting lineup.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Defending a competitive target of 182, skipper KL Rahul summoned Yadav into the attack in the sixth over with RCB one down. On the very first ball, Yadav hustled opposition captain Faf du Plessis who rushed to take a suicidal single, only to find himself miles short of the crease.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the next over, Yadav continued to bowl thunderbolts above 150 and managed to clean up Australia's Cameron Green who could not make head or tail of the trajectory of the ball.</p>

<p>Cameron's countrymate Glenn Maxwell did not last long either and departed a ball later, attempting to pull a back-of-length delivery into the stands. Once again, it was Yadav's express pace that troubled the batter. The ex-players, pundits and fans thoroughly appreciated Yadav's energetic spell, with many asking the BCCI to include him in the T20 World Cup squad.&nbsp;</p>

Yadav, during his spell of four overs, also took 3 wickets for 27 runs against Punjab Kings (PBKS). <p>Once Yadav was unleashed, PBKS' chase took a hit as they failed to reach the target of 200 despite being at 102/0 in 11.3 overs. Mayank accounted for the first three wickets of Punjab and Kings went from 102/0 to 139/3 in 15.4 overs. Mohsin Khan then joined the party with two wickets in the 17th over as PBKS got completely derailed from the platform set of Jonny Bairstow (42) and Dhawan (70).</p>

<p>With an innings of 28 off 17 balls, Liam Livingstone kept PBKS in the hunt but they could eventually manage 178/5 in 20 overs and lost the game by 21 runs.</p>

<p>Earlier, LSG won the toss and elected to bat first at their home ground. Lucknow opener KL Rahul went back early after scoring just 15 but de Kock kept the innings going with 38-ball 54. After de Kock's departure, stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran (21-ball 42) and Krunal Pandya (22-ball 43) kept the momentum going on for Lucknow as they posted 199/8 in 20 overs.</p>

<p>It was LSG's first win in two games after losing the first match to Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs. For Punjab, it was their second loss in three games, having already lost to RCB by four wickets in the previous game.&nbsp;</p>

<p>LSG's new captain for the Punjab game, Nicholas Pooran, introduced Mayank into the attack after the Powerplay, and the lanky seamer hogged all the attention with his first delivery, searing over 147 kph, with his 155.8 kph being the quickest this season.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bought at his base price of INR 20 lakh at the IPL 2022 auction, Mayank remained on the sidelines last year due to injuries. However, upon getting a chance this season, he made headlines worldwide with his whirlwind spell.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking after winning the Player of the Match award, Mayank said he waited for this moment for a long time, adding he didn’t think it would go this well.</p>

<p>"I didn't really think it [my debut] would go that well. I have heard from the others that there can be nervousness on debut. But after the first ball, all my nervousness went away," Mayank said at the post-match presentation. "Everyone said to not take too much pressure, just bowl on the stumps, and use the pace. That's what I did,” the seamer added.</p>

<p>Detailing on bowling bouncers upfront, Mayank said he thought of deceiving batters with some odd slower ones; it was only after receiving Pooran's advice of going all out with his pace that Mayank terrorised batters with his stock delivery.</p>

<p>"I thought I might need to use the slower ball, but there was help from the wicket, the captain [Nicholas Pooran] said to just go with the pace," Mayank revealed. "The debut wicket was my favourite."</p>
