The Karnataka Government has banned the release of the film Hamare Baarah for two weeks or until the next order, under sections of the Karnataka Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1964. The state government has alleged that the release of the film may create communal tension in Karnataka.&nbsp;

The authorities came up with this decision after reviewing the request of several minority organisations and delegations and after watching the trailer.

Hamare Baarah has been courting legal issues since some time. Objectionable content in the film's teaser caught the attention of Bombay High Court earlier. Two days before the film's scheduled release on June 7, the the Bombay High Court&nbsp;imposed a stay order till June 14 over a petition filed by religious community activists that challenged the film's release.

However, on Thursday, the Bombay High Court lifted the injunction on the release of Hamare Baarah. The court further directed the respondents to form a committee to watch the movie comprising three members. The committee, which must consist of at least one Muslim member, must submit their report by 9 am Friday.&nbsp; 
 
Meanwhile, the film is permitted to be released in theatres on June 7, with the first show slated to be screened at 10:00 am. The court took note of the removal of certain dialogues and the film's certification process, media reports stated.&nbsp;

The star cast features Annu Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, and Paritosh Tripathi in lead roles. “I am an artist, I have done this film, but some people have opposed it. I am specifically saying that this movie was not made to target any religion. Today, there are discussions about the respect of women in our country. In any society, there should be no disrespect to women," ANI quoted Manoj Joshi as saying.&nbsp; 
 
He added, “A woman is not an object or a thing; she should be respected, as has been happening in this land of India. Secondly, that film talks about various topics such as education, upbringing, employment, women's respect and empowerment, and population. So, everyone should watch this film with their families."

In the world of biopics, the makers have now released the trailer of ‘PM Narendra Modi’ that stars Vivek Anand Oberoi as and in the role of the current Indian PM.&nbsp;

The trailer shows the journey of Modi as he joins RSS, becomes a saint, joins politics actively and in the role of Gujarat’s Chief Minister. You can hear the opposition parties of the time saying how can a man serving tea become India’s prime minister. The trailer (and possibly the film) is more on his journey as a CM than the country’s PM.

Frankly, Vivek does not look like Modi in the trailer but does try to make up with his acting.&nbsp;

He is also seen making a reference to Indira Gandhi’s Emergency and getting arrested. In the last bit, he can be seen challenging Pakistan to not mess with India as there will be dire consequences.

Boman Irani plays industrialist Ratan Tata and Manoj Joshi is seen playing Amit Shah in the film.&nbsp;

The film is directed by Omung Kumar who has previously made biopics on Mary Kom and Sarabjit Singh.&nbsp;

It will release on April 5 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.&nbsp;

I have observed Shri Amit Shah ji for a very long time. Met him twice and have tried to absorb his personality. I have also heard that there is a photo of Chanakya in his office."&nbsp;
