<p>During her conversation with Humans of Bombay, Bedi shared that the first year was the most difficult.</p>

<p>“The only way out is through. Of course, my children and I think of him every day. It’s not like we’ve forgotten him. The first year was very, very, very, very hard. The first of everything is just impossible to deal with. The first birthday, the first anniversary, the first Diwali, the first Christmas, the first New Year. The second one is a little bit easier, the third one is a little bit easier…," said Bedi.</p>

<p>Talking about how she processed her husband's death, Mandira shared that during the tough phase, she kept herself immersed in&nbsp;work.</p>

<p>Getting emotional, Mandira shared that things are still in process and&nbsp;talked about taking therapy. “There are moments when we remember him because of a song. I’ve done the therapy I’ve needed to, there are times I still do it. As human beings, we are always a work in progress… What I can do now is talk about it. It makes me emotional, but I can. There was a time I couldn’t. But I won’t break down… I started working two months after it happened… I have to support my family and myself. I need to do it for my children,” she said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sharing that there are so many things that she will grief the rest of her life, Mandira said that she can't listen to Kishore Kumar's music.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“It’s been six years that I’ve had his car. And I have to sell it now. I’d been holding onto it for emotional reasons, and now I’m going to shed a tear when it goes. So, it’s a work in progress. I’ve dealt with the bulk of it, but for the rest of my life, I’ll always grieve him. One thing I still can’t do, is that I can’t listen to Kishore Kumar music,” teary Mandira said.</p>

<p>Kaushal and Bedi got married in 1999. The couple had two children, son Vir and a daughter Tara.</p>

<p>The actress-turned-celebrity host performed the last rites in the company of her supportive friends Ashish Choudhary, Rohit Roy, Vishal Dadlani, Hansal Mehta, among others. Bedi has since deleted her Instagram display picture.</p>

<p>Talking to an entertainment portal, the couple’s musician friend Sulaiman Merchant – of the Salim-Sulaiman duo – shared that Kaushal complained of uneasiness the night before his passing and had taken a pill for the same. He was quoted as saying, “Time rolled by into the night, and around 4 am, Raj felt more uneasy. Raj told Mandira that he was getting a heart attack. Mandira acted swiftly and called Ashish Chaudhary, who rushed to their place. Mandira and Ashish put him in the car but he was losing consciousness. I think they drove off, taking him to the Lilavati Hospital if I’m not wrong. But in the next 5-10 minutes, they realised that he had no pulse. Before they reached the doctor, it was too late (sic).”</p>

<p>Filmmaker Raj Kaushal, TV host and actress Mandira Bedi's husband, died in the early hours of Wednesday. Kaushal, according to reports, suffered a cardiac arrest around 4:30 am. He was 49.&nbsp;<br />

Kaushal got married to actor-TV presenter Mandira Bedi in 1999. The couple have two children, son Vir and daughter Tara.<br />

"He passed away today morning, at around 4.30 am at his home. He had a heart attack," actor Rohit Roy told PTI.<br />

Apart from direction, Kaushal had also produced filmmaker Onir's 2005 acclaimed drama 'My Brother Nikhil', starring Sanjay Suri and Juhi Chawla.<br />

Onir paid tributes to Kaushal on Twitter.<br />

<p>One of India’s biggest walkathon Oxfam Trailwalker India 2019-2020 has opened as it gathers support from celebrities who are passionate about their fitness including Mandira Bedi, Milind Soman and Rahul Bose.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To take part in the walkathon, teams of four can register for the Mumbai and Bengaluru editions of Trailwalker on the official website. This year will mark the 7th edition of the Mumbai event and the 9th edition of the Bengaluru Trailwalker.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the event, Mandira Bedi said, "It is incredible to see so many people come together to voluntarily walk for hours to support the cause of equality. It is difficult and challenging. There are millions of people who need support to beat poverty and I congratulate Oxfam for the wonderful work they are doing.”</p>

<p>This year, 100km and 50km trails will pass through the majestic Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Bhor Ghat in the quaint town of Karjat in Maharashtra. The town lies on the banks of River Ulhas. While in Bengaluru, the trail will start from the edge of a beautiful valley in the Nandi Hills. It passes through more than 30 villages, from Sultanpet to Olde Bangalore Resort.</p>

<p>In 2018-2019, almost 1600 people from all across India walked 100km (or 50km) for an equal world.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Oxfam Trailwalker India is also the biggest team fundraising event in India. Last year, people raised over 5 crores to contribute towards Oxfam India's projects on education, health, gender, forest rights and discrimination in the six poorest states of India (Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh).&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We need fitness lovers to join our fight to end discrimination, to ensure that poor children, particularly girls, go to schools, to advocate for good quality and free government health services, and to provide support for families who have lost everything in floods and disasters. We believe that Trailwalker is an opportunity for those who care about the world, to make meaningful change," said Oxfam India CEO Amitabh Behar, who walked the 100km event with his friends at the Mumbai edition last year.</p>

<p>Oxfam Trailwalker is an environmentally sustainable event and does not harm the environment. Oxfam India partners with organizations for waste management.</p>
