<p>The recently concluded Pakistan International Film Festival saw several Indian stars in attendance. The film festival had Pakistan's popular faces hobnobing with Indian film personalities like SS Rajamouli, Nandita Das, Vishal and Rekha Bhardwaj and Vinay Pathak.<br />

From film screenings and interactive sessions on cinema in the subcontinent, Pakistani and Indian film celebrities came together for the five day event.<br />

Art must go on: Bollywood descends on Pakistan Film Festival

<p>Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is back in scrutiny after her <a href="http://www.wionews.com/south-asia/mahira-khan-caught-smoking-again-internet-divided-in-reactions-127042">video smoking at an event in Pakistan</a> became viral recently. Mahira Khan reacts to the Javed Shiekh viral kiss video; calls it 'silly stuff'

<p>A Pakistani man bearing resemblance to the suspect of raping and murdering a seven-year-old girl was detained by the police in Pakistan&#39;s Punjab on Tuesday.</p>

<p>The man&nbsp;arrested due to his resemblance to the suspect in a CCTV footage released by the police. He has been handed over to Kasur Police for DNA test.</p>

<p>District Police Officer Zahid Ali Marwat said they had examined 20 video footages, and of them, only footage, where the minor girl was seen walking with the suspect, was real.</p>

<p>Earlier in January, the seven-year-old girl in Lahore&#39;s Kasur district was abducted from outside of her aunt&#39;s house, while her parents were away on pilgrimage.</p>

<p>Her body was found in a garbage dumpster, four days after she was reported missing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The post-mortem report revealed that she was raped multiple times and was strangled to death.</p>

The arrested man has been handed over to Kasur Police for DNA test

A Pakistani man bearing resemblance to the suspect of raping and murdering a seven-year-old girl was detained by the police in Pakistan's Punjab on Tuesday. The man arrested due to his resemblance to the suspect in a CCTV footage released by the police. He has been handed over to Kasur Police for DNA test. District Police Officer Zahid Ali Marwat said they had examined 20 video footages, and of them, only footage, where the minor girl was seen walking with the suspect, was real. Earlier in January, the seven-year-old girl in Lahore's Kasur district was abducted from outside of her aunt's house, while her parents were away on pilgrimage. Her body was found in a garbage dumpster, four days after she was reported missing. The post-mortem report revealed that she was raped multiple times and was strangled to death. &ldquo;This topic has been festering for a long time,&rdquo; added Khan, saying that she hopes the state will bring in capital punishment for abusers, since &ldquo;if the child has not died, she is still not alive anymore for the rest of her life&rdquo;.&nbsp;</p>
