<p>The first class in journalism in a typical journalism school in India begins with the Watergate scandal, a lesson in the dogged investigative reporting by Washington Post's Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein who uncovered a scandal that forced Richard Nixon to step down from the US presidency in 1974.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But with <em>Scoop</em>’s Jagruti Pathak into Jigna Vora’s shoes, Mehta has set a benchmark in getting Indian journalism’s chequered glory right.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Vora spent nearly 10 months in Mumbai’s Byculla prison. She was arrested at the peak of her career in connection with the murder of fellow journalist Jyotirmoy Dey (played by Prosenjit Chatterjee in <em>Scoop</em>) in 2011.</p>

<p>The show also highlights the alleged connections of the underworld with some officials of the Mumbai Police and is a poignant reflection on the gang war between Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Rajan.&nbsp;</p>

We have shot the film during the lockdown and it’s exciting to have the trailer dropped too. The trailer introduces the audience to the characters and sets forth its dramatic premise. The film builds intrigue throughout its narrative and the background score establishes the spy-thriller tonality (you will see this in the trailer too)."<br />

The supernatural series inspired by a fictitious tale revolved around form shifting snake-woman. It narrated the tale of Shivanya / Shivangi (Mouni) and Shesha’s (Adaa) revengeful mission to eliminate those who were responsible for their parents' death.
