The cast of '83' may not have started shooting for the film but they seem to have already got into the skin of their characters. On Monday evening, the cast of the film, all wearing black suits, arrived at the Mumbai International airport in a bus to head for London where the first schedule begins. Now, arriving in team buses together is something synonymous to the Indian cricket team- so it was interesting to see a cast of a film arriving at the airport, dressed in uniform, to leave for the shoot of their film.

Ranveer Singh, who plays Kapil Dev in the film, lead the pack that also consisted of Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Sahil Khattar and Ammy Virk.
Before entering the airport the team posed together for the media which was present there.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film will chronicle the Indian cricket team's journey during the historic 1983 World Cup which they had won. Reports suggest Deepika Padukone will play Ranveer Singh's reel wife in the film and is also co-producing the film- although there has been no confirmation from the couple yet.

"As a young schoolboy when I watched India win the 1983 Cricket World Cup I had no idea that from that day onwards Cricket in India will change forever. As a filmmaker, for me, the journey to that win, filled with raw energy and sheer passion of that young Indian team, is probably one of the most exciting stories I have worked on.

Salman Khan's latest release seems to be in a whirlwind of news--this time for it's losses.

His last movie Tubelight was pegged to be a huge hit by all trade pundits but flopped majorly at the box-office, with distributors incurring huge losses. Soon after there were reports that Salman Khan will be paying off his distributors for the losses.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed on Twitter that the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star will refund approx Rs 35 crore today to distributors and exhibitors as compensation for losses suffered in 'Tubelight'. But this is actually just half of the actual losses suffered by the distributors.

The movie was an Eid release for Salman Khan and had opened to a decent Rs. 21.15 crore but it managed to gross only Rs. 64.77 crores in its first weekend. In fact, in the first ten days of its release, the movie could rake up a little over Rs. 100 crore (which is quite low keeping his previous releases in mind). Salman's last two Eid releases, Sultan in 2016 and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in 2015 had crossed Rs. 300 crore at the box office in much lesser time.

But will Salman actually pay that huge sum, is still the big question.
