Jammu & Kashmir Police have launched a major crackdown on terrorist communication networks, intensifying anti-terror operations after an attack on an ex-army man and his family. The massive drive spans several districts to curb the misuse of SIM cards and dismantle terror links.

To completely wipe out the terror networks in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India is now focusing on the terror network across the border. Over 4000 terrorists who fled Jammu and Kashmir in the last three decades and are operating from Pakistan, and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir are likely to lose their properties in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the Jammu and Kashmir government, around 4,200 terrorists&nbsp;living in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir have been listed as&nbsp;"proclaimed offenders" by the government of India and their properties are being attached.

The government authorities have already started the drive by seizing the properties of these terrorists. Agencies like the National Investigative Agency (NIA) and State Investigative Agency (SIA) have seized dozens of properties in the Kashmir Valley. Jammu and Kashmir Police have also seized over 16 properties in Doda district in the last week.

''Those who have gone and taken shelter in Pakistan were earlier associated with terrorism here and now are running the networks from sitting across the border. We have made a list of those involved and recently in Doda district, we have taken strict action against those and seized their properties and have been listed among fugitives,'' said Dilbag Singh, the Director-General of J&amp;K Police.

According to government officials, the Inspector-General of Registrations and Revenue has already received a list of around 4,200 terrorists living in PoK for the last three decades.

The revenue department would most likely be seizing the properties and also making sure that these properties are neither sold nor bought by anyone. Jammu and Kashmir Police in recent times have also attached properties of those who are found guilty of wilfully providing shelter to the terrorists.

In a recent statement, the LG of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha also appealed to the locals of Kashmir Valley to not support or provide shelter to terrorists.

"I hope the locals in the Kashmir Valley will not give protection or support to any anti-national elements. The rest of the job will be done by the police and security forces. Don't give shelter. It is because of terrorism that people in J&amp;K have been living in fear for decades. And we have made up our mind to completely wipe out the terrorism across Jammu and Kashmir with your support," said Manoj Sinha.

According to the sources,&nbsp;security experts have suggested the government focus on the terror networks and ecosystem both in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Pakistan. They say that only when the grassroots networks of terror groups are wiped out, will Jammu and Kashmir be terror-free.

India to seize J&K-based properties of 4,000 fugitive terrorists in Pakistan and PoK

Jammu and Kashmir Police have registered a case in connection with allegedly raising of anti-national slogans by some stranded Kashmiri Muslims passengers here and issued a 'hue and cry notice' to trace three unidentified persons, officials said.

Police issued pictures of the three accused persons involved in raising anti-national slogans.

Thousands of Kashmiri Muslims passengers, including students, are stranded in Jammu following the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar national highway owing to heavy snowfall and rains which triggered multiple landslides.

A case has been registered against the unidentified persons in connection with raising of anti-national slogans during protests by stranded Kashmiri Muslim passengers near the GGM science college in Jammu on February 11 in the Nowabad police station, the officials said.

The case has been registered under Sections sedition (124A RPC), Punishment for wrongful restraint (341), Punishment for rioting (147) rioting, armed with deadly weapon (148) and endangering life or personal safety of others (336).

As per the hue and cry notice issued by SSP Jammu Tajinder Singh, SP city North, Jammu has intimated that some unknown persons have raised anti-national slogans near the college, out of which the pictures of three unidentified persons have been traced out and are wanted in the FIR.

"As such photographs of these unidentified persons are being published for the information of police establishments and the public in general, having any clue related to whereabouts and present locations of these accused persons, communicate the same on the contacts of police," the notice said.&nbsp;

Police procured CCTV footage from nearby shops and proved the anti-national slogans were raised within the protesting stranded Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu.

Hundreds of college students in Jammu boycotted classes for three days last week and held protests in parts of the city since a group of stranded Kashmiri Muslim passengers allegedly raised "objectionable" slogans.

The students alleged that the passengers raised "pro-Pakistan" and "anti-India" slogans and demanded that they are booked for sedition.&nbsp;
