Then KKR all-rounder Rajat Bhatia had also opened up on the altercation in 2020. "That is something which happened when two aggressive captains played and they always want to give their best and win for their respective teams. Even if they had any kind of collision in that match, it was just a part of the game,” Bhatia told Asianet Newsable.

“Later, I have never seen them (Gambhir and Kohli) fighting. In the heat of the moment, so many things happen. But, it shouldn’t be happening for the worse. And on that day, it was not,” he further added.

In a YouTube video with Jatin Sapru, Gambhir also recently opined on the whole&nbsp;incident. Recalling whatever happened&nbsp;nine years back, he said that it was nothing&nbsp;personal.&nbsp;

"That's why there was nothing personal (then) and there never will be personal against Virat. I say it again and again that what he's achieved, I am not surprised. That's the kind of player he was when we saw him early but what he's transformed into, I think from a fitness point of view and the way he's worked on his skills is tremendous", Gambhir said on the YouTube channel.&nbsp;

Talking in the same context, Sehwag recalled an incident when Dhoni scolded Ashwin for giving an animated send-off to Glenn Maxwell during an IPL match between the Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab). Though Sehwag did not mention when the match happened, but it is certain that the incident happened during 2014 IPL.&nbsp;

"Even when I was playing for Punjab, Ashwin dismissed Maxwell, picked up some dust and blew it off [in celebration]. I didn't like that scene either but I didn't come out publicly to say that he should not have done that or it was against the spirit of the game, although MS Dhoni was very angry about it and scolded him a lot too," Sehwag was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz while sharing his views on the 'spirit of the game' debate.&nbsp;

What happens inside should remain inside. If more things from the inside start coming out, I can guarantee every match will have something like this that will cause an uproar.
