It is trained on vast amounts of data—the way a person learns by reading thousands of books over years. This is the part you and I actually touch and use—a chatbot answering your question, an app diagnosing a health condition, a platform helping a farmer decide when to water his crops. "We could see through some AI systems that something was building up. Finally, we were able to predict the timing of their move," said Lt Gen Rana. He said that AI-enabled intelligence ensured that the Indian forces were positioned effectively and also helped in evacuation planning.
