Broad boosts England's victory bid in second West Indies Test

England’s Jofra Archer has been dropped from the second Test against the West Indies starting today (Thursday 16 July) at Emirates Old Trafford following a breach of the team’s bio-secure protocols, the ECB said.&nbsp;

Archer will now start a five-day isolation period while undergoing two COVID-19 tests in this period, which have to test negative before his self-isolation phase is lifted.

"But obviously he's under pressure a little bit, yes. Zak is improving constantly. I think he certainly showed maturity and the innings he played was very good.

"We have some young players in that side that seem to have good heads on their shoulders, and he's one of them. That's what we are looking for."
