The victim said that the scammer projected herself as a devout Muslim and always wore a hijab which covered her entire face when they met. He said that he was not bothered about the hijab and saw it as a sign of her devotion to Islam. As the two started planning their wedding, the scammer claimed that she did not have any family who would attend the wedding. After this, the couple decided to go for a modest wedding ceremony at the victim's home on April 12. The scammer also brought 5 grams of gold as dowry, however, the marriage was not officially registered by the couple. How did the man find out about the scammer in the guise of a bride? The man got suspicious about the bride 12 days after the wedding as he observed that she did not communicate with his family and wore her veiled attire even at home. The bride also avoided intimacy with the groom as she gave various excuses ranging from menstrual cycle to feeling unwell. He then found out that the bride was not an orphan and both her parents were alive. What was more shocking was that she was not a woman but a man who has been cross-dressing since 2020. The scammer's parents also found that they were not aware of their “son-in-law”. The police later informed the groom that the scammer had married him to steal his family’s assets. According to CBS46 news TV, the suspect is described as a Black man, around 6 feet tall and slim.

According to the police, the incident took place in Henry County, southeast of Atlanta, on Monday.

The man in disguise arrived at Chase Bank in the city of McDonough carrying a pink bag and armed with a gun. He then reportedly gave a note to a member of staff demanding money, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution&nbsp;reported citing police.

After taking the money, the man drove off in a small, white SUV that police believe could have been a recent Lexus model. A tag wasn’t spotted.

Photos of the disguised accused were shared on Facebook by&nbsp;McDonough Police Department.

"Based on CCTV recordings and photos taken inside the bank, the department was able to confirm that the suspect was wearing a floral dress, a wig, and a black mask," the department wrote.

In a news release on Friday, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that federal officers at the Otay Mesa port-of-entry facility on last Sunday encountered a 46-year-old man, who was driving a tractor trailer containing a large shipment "manifested as onions." &nbsp;

In initial inspection of the vehicle, an officer directed the driver and shipment to a more intensive examination, which was conducted by the agency's K-9 team, the release said. &nbsp;

A detector dog&nbsp;alerted the officers. &nbsp;

The driver, an unidentified Mexico citizen, has been arrested for the alleged narcotic smuggling attempt. He has been handed over to the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) for "further disposition," as per CBP.
