Hollywood actor Winston Duke&nbsp;has joined hands with director&nbsp;David Leitch&nbsp;for his upcoming&nbsp;action thriller film 'The Fall Guy', which is Universal’s big-screen take on the 1980s adventure TV series. The movie also stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt and its&nbsp;production&nbsp;began this week in Australia.

If reports are anything to go by, Winston Duke will portray the role of the stuntman’s best friend. And unlike the original 1980s show, the story doesn’t focus on a stuntman with a side hustle as a bounty hunter.

Instead, it focuses on a battered and past-his-prime film stuntman&nbsp;who finds himself back in a movie with the star for whom he doubled long ago and who replaced him. The twist in the movie comes when the star goes missing.

Even though the feature film is doing away with the side gig, it is&nbsp;preserving its name and stunts.&nbsp;

The movie is going to hit the theatres in 2024.&nbsp;

Previously, it was reported that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has joined the film's cast alongside Stephanie Hsu. With the latest update, it seems that the makers have finally finished casting for the project.&nbsp;

Earlier, director Leitch informed Insider that most of the film's action sequences take place on a moving train; therefore, some parts were inspired by Chan's movies. They incorporated sequences that were compressed fights adopted from Chan's films that had "lots of quick jabs and kicks."&nbsp;

Pitt, in a conversation with Variety in the past, had spoken highly of Chan. "David and I had always been big fans of Jackie Chan. We’d been talking about him for decades. He’s kind of our Buster Keaton. He’s so talented and underrated even. Just to do something in that direction was what was appealing to me," he had said at that time.

Leitch pioneered a "gun-fu" style approach in the 'John Wick’ series by fusing "Hong Kong action with an American style," which he learnt from Bruce Lee's training partner Dan Inosanto. "When [Pitt] came on this, he seemed to respect me already as a director," stated Leitch. "Obviously we worked a little on ‘Deadpool 2.’ We fell into this great friend rapport that we had in the years we spent together. But I was just blown away by him embracing me as the director and leaning into my ideas."

A bunch of deadly assassins are onboard a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Each has been boarded the train due to different circumstances but all are eyeing a silver briefcase loaded with cash. Leading the pack is Ladybug (Brad Pitt) who has recently turned non-violent. His handler cum-therapist Maria Beetle (Sandra Bullock) gives him an easy job. He has to get on the train from Tokyo station, take the silver briefcase and get off at the next station. Looks like an easy job for a former assassin who has turned a new leaf but things begin to get complicated the moment he gets his hand on the said briefcase.&nbsp; 
 
There are two other deadly assasins - the twins called Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry )and Tangerine (Aron Taylor Johnson), there is an angsty father (Andrew Koji) in search of the person who has pushed his young son off a tall building, a young school girl called the Prince (Joeyy King) who can fake cry at the drop of a hat, a Latino assassin in search of the killer who killed his bride and other guests at the wedding, a train crew member dressed as a Manga character (Zazzie Beetz) and even a deadly snake let loose whose bite can make people bleed to death within 30 seconds.&nbsp; 
 
The mayhem that director David Leitch and Screenplay writer Zak Olkewicz unleash on screen is systematic yet chaotic in the larger picture. The twists keep coming in till almost the last half an hour of the film which provides thrills in plenty. The action sequences are stylised and may not make sense all the time but fit the narrative beautifully.

The screenplay infuses comedy and thrill in equal parts making it an enjoyable watch. Pitt plays a former deadly assassin who now uses arbitrary quotes of non-violence and inner peace amid the trickiest of situations. The actor, all of 58, hasn't lost his charm one bit. You are convinced that his character has turned a new leaf, you want him to exit the train at the earliest and smile as he uses a modern Japanese toilet's snazzy features to style his hair and you are almost convinced as he complains about his bad luck even though it is the other way round.&nbsp; 
 
While Pitt is the star of the show and credibly takes the mad story forward, Aron Taylor Johnson and Biran Tyree Henry as 'twins' Lemon and Tangerine get the best moments. Almost like Thomson and Thompson of 'Tintin comics'- the two share undeniable screen chemistry and make each of their scenes memorable. With an absolutely straight face, the two actors perform the best scenes. Another scene stealer is 'Kissing Booth' star Joeyy King who plays the most devious character of them all. 'Bullet Train' also has plenty of cameos from known faces like Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatom and Michael Shannon who elevate the film to a great extent.

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt had a half-wit response to the question about his impending retirement plan. The actor seemed surprised and denied the claims of retiring from showbiz as he spoke to the media at his upcoming film ‘Bullet Train’ premiere that took place in Los Angeles, California. Pitt’s&nbsp;earlier statement caused a lot of buzz and speculation about his retirement from movies.

When asked about retiring from work, Pitt had a spontaneous reply, reported Deadline. Pitt laughed and answered, “No, I mean…I really have to work on my phrasing.” The star in June indicated the final stage of his career in films.

“I was just saying, ‘I’m past middle age and I want to be specific about how I spend those last things however they may be,” Pitt was quoted as saying by Deadline.

Pitt laughed and answered, “No, I mean…I really have to work on my phrasing.” The star in June indicated the final stage of his career in films. “I was just saying, ‘I’m past middle age and I want to be specific about how I spend those last things however they may be,” Pitt was quoted as saying by Deadline. I’m just, whatever feels right for the day. I still operate that way.” Pitt, in a somewhat plangent interview for GQ’s August issue, made headlines after he discussed what he called “this last semester or trimester” of his career, throwing his fans into a tizzy. “I consider myself on my last leg… This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that? I’m one of those creatures that speak through art. I just want to always make. If I’m not making, I’m dying in some way,” the ‘Fight Club’ star told GQ Magazine in a June interview. About ‘Bullet Train’ Pitt plays an assassin in ‘Bullet Train’. He is on a train from Tokyo to Kyoto and has returned to the risky job after a period of burnout, Deadline reported. Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Bad Bunny, Joey King, Zazie Beetz, and others form the supporting cast of the film. Helmed by David Leitch, the movie is inspired by a book of the same name by Kotaro Isaka, from Zak Olkewicz’s script, and Brent O’Connor, Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, and Kat Samick are executive producers. ‘Bullet Train’ will run in theatres this Friday, August 5. The story follows Branson through the unbelievable rise of his company, Virgin Airways, and the campaign by British Airways to bring it down. Branson's company was launched in 1984 and began to take hold of the British airline industry by 1990, at which point BA became threatened by VA's growth.
