According to a report published by The Bigfoot Field Research Organisation recently, a Bigfoot was spotted in a Sasquatch hotspot in Connecticut last year.

A resident of Fairfield County reported hearing the “screaming/long-duration whooping” of the hairy giant after midnight on October 17, 2023.

“This voice had quite a bit of ‘power’ behind it and I could tell that it was carried over distance. I would ‘rough’ guesstimate at least two clicks [1.25 miles] from my coords,” said the&nbsp;anonymous witness in the report.

As per the witness, the howling sound came from a forested area close to the town of Monroe and continued for 10 terrifying minutes.

In the report, the alleged Bigfoot was said to be yelping for around 10 seconds roughly and then halting before repeating the pattern again.

“All the dogs in the area started barking at once when the vocalisations ended. Normally there are many owls in the area and when I had gone outside previously I could hear them,” said the witness, and added that some of the noises were not coming from a coyote, bobcat, cougar or fox.

“When I had noticed the vocalizations had ended it was probably a good ten minutes before I could hear the owls again,” he added.

As per founder and BFRO investigator Matthew Moneymaker, the report was not made public earlier because it was just a sound-only report, however, the claims were found credible and were placed in a Class B categorisation.

“My first thought was this is either a person or a bigfoot. I did a quick checklist in my head and ruled out person,”&nbsp;said the witness.

“It was solid black from head to toe with no colour differences. It was also too large to be a person. I had a size comparison with the deer ran just past it. The black figure was about 2 and a half times the height of the deer torso. It must have been between 8 and 10 feet tall,"&nbsp;the witness added.

A couple in Colorado has claimed to have encountered the mythical Bigfoot while wandering across San Juan National Forest, which borders New Mexico and Utah.

The couple— Shannon and Stetson Parker—took photos and a video of the beast and shared it on their Facebook account on October 8.&nbsp;

The video has since gone viral on the social media platform, with many netizens expressing amazement and scepticism.

In their post, Shannon said that they sighted an unspecified creature which they claimed resembled the big creature.&nbsp;

They were celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary and were on a sightseeing tour on the narrow gauge rail line between Durango and Silverton, in the Centennial State's far southwest.

“On Sunday, October 8, 2023, Stetson Tyler and I took the Narrow Gauge train ride from Durango to Silverton. After leaving Silverton and heading back to Durango, I asked Stetson to help me look for elk in the mountains. As we are passing by the mountains, Stetson sees something moving and then says I think it's Bigfoot.”&nbsp;

“Brandon, the guy sitting next to Stetson on the train grabs his phone and starts recording. Meanwhile, I am trying to get a photo on my camera. Below is the video Brandon @bt92.travels got and the photos I took. Y'all, out of the hundreds of people on the train, three or four of us saw, as Stetson says in the video, the ever-elusive creature Bigfoot! I don't know about y'all but We Believe!!"

“We were looking for elk in the mountains and my husband sees something moving and then can't explain it. So, he's like 'Bigfoot!'" Shannon, a 44-year-old contractor from Cheyenne, Wyoming. told the New York Post.

Claudia Ackley, the&nbsp;prominent Bigfoot hunter who claimed to have encountered the cryptid, passed away at the age of 51. She was found dead at her Tennessee residence on July 3. Her partner, Ed Brown, informed The US Sun that her cause of death is suspected to be a heart attack.

Ed said he "lost a soldier," adding that he was out of town for work and grew concerned when he didn't hear from Claudia for an extended period of time, the Hindustan Times reported.&nbsp;

He said, "She wasn't moving so the police were called and discovered she had passed away. That was Thursday, July 2. Her last messages were on Thursday so I assume at some point that evening she passed away."

He added, "More tests need to be done, but according to police, she died of cardiac arrest."

He also mentioned that her death might have been caused by hypertension or an issue with her medication, although nothing has been proven yet.&nbsp;

Claudia's Bigfoot Sighting in the forest:

The mother-of-two claimed to have seen the cryptid on 27 March 2016 in the mountains of Big Bear, California. Following her sighting, Claudia returned to the location and found a giant 22-footprint and another 13-inch footprint near the site, both with all five toes.

After the sighting, she reached out to locals who shared similar stories and the hiker reported hearing screams resembling "women getting raped."

Claudia also found thousands of similar sightings across the US and established a PTSD group for survivors of bigfoot sightings.

Recounting the incident, Claudia in an interview with The Sun in 2018, explained that one evening, around 6:30 pm, she and her daughters were on a hike, capturing videos and photos on her phone. Suddenly her daughters froze with an expression of fear, confirming they saw something.

Upon noticing their reactions, she quickly ran about 20 feet ahead of them and witnessed an enormous creature weighing around 800 pounds, with a large head, huge ears and black almond-shaped eyes.

"He was like a Neanderthal man with lots of messy hair. He was kind of perched about 30 feet up between two branches of a tree and I'm looking at it, trying to register: ‘What is it this? What am I looking at?"

Following her encounter, Claudia filed a lawsuit against the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in an effort to prove the existence of the animal.&nbsp;

Ed stated that her goal was to prompt real investigation and research. He said Claudia not only believed in what she saw, but she also had verifiable photographic evidence and had multiple witnesses who saw the same thing.&nbsp;

"No matter what you believe, she collected everything she could to go forward with this and come hell or high water she was out to prove they existed."&nbsp;

Till now, nothing has been proven.&nbsp;
