Pooja Entertainment production house, which is co-producing `Bell Bottom` with Emmay Entertainment production company, released an official statement on Saturday to clarify the speculations revolving around the release of the movie."Pooja Entertainment would like to quash all speculation in some sections of the media regarding the release of our upcoming film `Bellbottom`. Any announcement regarding the impending release of the film will be made by Pooja Entertainment at the opportune time," the statement read. 
 
The production house further added that no other entity other than the official spokesperson from the company has the mandate to make any statements with regards to any development with the film."We would like to request the media to support us as you always have and refrain from publishing any information that is not officially communicated by us. Stay safe and mask up. Our prayers with one and all," the statement concluded.

The casting director of 'Bell Bottom' Vaibhav Vishant, in a statement on Monday categorically refuted allegations linking an individual by the name of Ayush Tewari to the film.

The statement was issued after a television actor accused Tewari- of rape and a case was filed against him under Section 376 at Mumbai's Versova police station based on a complaint filed by the actor.

Clarifying that the person accused in media reports - Tewari- was an intern with the organisation, casting director Vaibhav said that the accused had nothing to do with the film 'Bell Bottom'.

Directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, 'Bell Bottom'&nbsp;stars Akshay Kumar alongside Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta. The spy thriller film is slated to release on April 2, 2021.
